After her contract with Ciel, she starts to track down demons invading Elrios in order to regain her power and status.

An Assassin famous in the underworld. He rescues Lu that escaped through the gap in time and space and stays with her. He loses his life to demon assassins that were after Lu but manages revive as a half-demon by making contract with Lu. As a gratitude for saving his life he aligns his cause with Lu’s and travels with her until her goals are completed.

Pretty hyped for this not going to lie.
The ability to completely switch fighting styles at ease with no cooldown sounds really interesting. You’d really be able to adapt to all situations. Sounds super fun.
Maybe Lu’ll become the true brawler class we’ve always wanted.
Curious to see how Lu and Ciel are going to cover one another’s weaknesses.

From what I noticed, Ciel is supposed to work as a ranged character, not a sword user exactly, while Lu seems to focus on the offense.
Also, Lu is originally a full grown woman so… she’s going to grow back, most likely. And yes, duo character’s been done before, big whoop.

Sure, there’s no apparent backstory relation to Raven, but sword(s) and claw? The creative bankruptcy is still very strong in KOG.

Hell, I’m even surprised KoG had a few brain cells left to consider a duo character, something a few MMORPGs/Games OTHER than MapleStory has done.
Why wait? I actually called LD/YR being one of the weakest classes upon KR’s initial release. And I was right about Add, even of the braindead morons on the NA forums still want to deny how much he blatantly stole from Eve.
KOG is very predictable once they reveal their characters. The only thing I got wrong in recent memory is that they actually made the Hamel ending cutscene about Ara and Chung instead of having Elesis save the day again.
Could you please elaborate on how similar Add is to Eve? If I were to take a guess, it would be the mobility, use of electricity, and maybe the use of machinery?
Oh and for Elesis, was she really popular in GC for her to become their favorite child?

Nobody really cares that much about the quality of the game besides you. You know why? Because everyone knows this game is shit, we know it won’t last 10 years and by the time CloserS comes our we’ll most likely migrate to there.
Well excuse me for caring about a game that used to bring me joy that I can no longer go back and play a version of the game back when it was still good due to the way MMOs work and private servers keeping up to date instead of being based off of olver versions of the game.
And are you sure lolicons are a big enough demographic in South Korea/the Elsword community to keep enough males from leaving after bullshit gameplay decisions? After all the Elsword fanart I’ve seen, I seriously have my doubts.
As in, I see a good amount of fanart of Eve with breasts and Rena with even bigger breasts. The closest thing Elsword had to a loli pre-Lanox, Echo, had very little fanart. (And even she got breast enlargements.) And even the Lanox lolis don’t have much in terms of fanart.
I felt the game was being strangled from the beginning. The decisions made, the predictable characters, also when I saw this, I thought the guy was like Michaela Hyakuya and the girl was Kururu Tepes from Owari no Seraph.

You do know that Elsword is the only sword user in the game? Raven uses a scimitar and Elesis a Claymore, in terms of figthing style they are indeed related to a sword, but do keep in mind they are all completely diffrent weapons with diffrent features. And by the way, if you find those little details are rip-offs, you can always apply for a job at KoG, and do the designs yourself.
Dude srsly, what’s with the hate? Big deal Ciel is a sword user. So is 95% of every mmorpg character, hell you might as well rage at KoG for making a spear user if your gonna bich about a character who uses sharp things. At least we know that Ciel will mostly use his gunblade as a gun so I don’t even thing that counts as a sword user. And Lu’s claw is nothing like ravens Nasod ARM. 80% of Ravens Nasod arm attacks is just plain punching, at least Lu actually claw the sht outta ppl
Besides does it matter if they are sword users of whatever? Or if they rip of from another game. I don’t think so. What matters is HOW it’s used, and as long as its just SIMILAR to something, iit is not by definition a rip of. I mean Elswords swordsmanship is more defensive aggressive type while Raven is more plain speed. Elesis is offensive and swift and NW’s is slow and effective, Oberon is lightning speed much like ravens but its a lot less skillful as him. And if it did mattered if something was ripped off than humans would still think the earth is the center of the solar system, just saying. In fact isn’t that what science partly is? Taking someone’s idea or claim, change it a little and call it yours? (reference to the atom’s old design and now)
I love how you go into detail defending all the sword users by pointing out the differences in their styles. (As if it even matters in a 2D game. Vindictus manages to make the differences between its sword users more relevant. Except for between Lann and Vella. Vella is basically Lann 2.0 and she even uses the exact same swords. As in, you can share weapons between the two.)
…..Then go ahead and say something utterly moronic like I should treat swords and spears are the same thing since they’re both pointy.
So then, how would you make a sword user more distinctive? I get what you mean by Vindictus with how Lann/Vella are similar, Fiona has her long sword, Hurk has his great sword, and Arisha has her Long Blade. Would it be better if the sword user fought differently or used a different kind of sword? In your opinion, how would you make the sword user characters different from one another?

People still play it if it’s fun to them. The people who are complaining just don’t like where the developers are going. I didn’t really like the nerf on field clearing skills and I do know that mount duration increased. If I can remember, someone in one of these update pages said it was to make it feel like you are riding a mount or something. Not quite what the person said, but my point is that what representatives say about their game and why they made that change isn’t always the real reason they did it. Sales would increase and etc if players had to turn to mounts when field clearing skills are nerfed.
As for the whole loli thing, you can kind of tell where this might go. Sure there are people who are into that, but if you consider how they keep changing the characters, their bust increased in comparison to before. VP got a cleavage line and Eve, a robot with no bust, has breasts now. Not a big deal for some people since they couldn’t care less. It’s not like their character models changed much. Look at Aisha’s model. The bust to waist is the same.
For the links from EndGame, other than Battle Seraph, is this to point out the increase in bust in comparison to their base job change portraits? Not sure if you are pointing out that they are growing up or that KOG has a preference for bigger breasts?

Brainstorming ideas for what voices to use for a Japanese voice mod. I’m thinking Sakura Tange(Red Saber) for Lu and Hiroshi Kamiya(Levi, Araragi) for Ciel. If possible I’d want Maaya Sakamoto for Lu, but I don’t think there are any voice clips of her talking royally like Shinobu. Ripping it from the show isn’t an option.
Or I could go the lazy route and just go with Archetype Earth, and Nanaya Shiki…
