After admitting that they made a mistake 2 months ago… Might as well release the same damn thing with very little amendments. I was a fool for thinking that they have been better recently. Nope. Still shit.

  • dark says:

kong don´t want understand that a pj with all the stats maxed is op and more if different secret set efect can stack

hopefully the kr will yell at them again and cancel it

  • wp0w says:

So they went ahead and stacked luciels stats anyway. Great.
And a reverse circle skill speed up? Are u fucking serious? They could reverse circle out of fucking everything with even a sliver of latency and they speed it up? Jesus Christ.

  • Laffargan says:

well luciel with +10 gears and 20k add damage+20k crit + 20k red damage
    just nope
    nope

  • MagicSpice says:

I’m sorry, but Lu and Ciel sharing effects like that seem broken.

That Means you can have VIG and SS IB set BOTH shelling out effects. If the sockets stack too, then that’s up to 14 extra slots, not 7 (2 per IB weapon, 1 for all other costume pieces).

Considering that DL needs nerfed already…. this should cause a riot soon….

But a switch w/o skills and combos was much needed.

    • Anonymous says:

But they actually need stacked effects because they’re actually weaker than the other chars without them.

      • Anonymous says:

No, they aren’t and no, they do not.

      • MagicSpice says:

so then, you want them to have so much socket effects cause they’re “weak”?

if that’s the case, do it for every squishy class then, add included… >.>

        • Shizzles says:

What does Add even have to do with this? Add isn’t even weak. Squishy, but not weak.

          • L says:

The issue is that we don’t know how it will scale. What if the supposedly stat efficient class becomes the strongest if you pay a lot? What if the stack stats and effects get out of hand, to the point where you get something ridiculous like 60-80% red dmg, 20k add dmg, 90% crit. I don’t know for sure, I’m just giving random, ridiculously high values. Right now, all we can do is hope KOG does this well.

          • Anonymous says:

If that’s really what you’re concerned with, L, then you need to reread the post.

          • L says:

@Anon, I know what you mean, I already read it. What I was getting at is the scaling. From what people are saying here, it seems like according to my random numbers I gave, they are afraid of the stats getting way out of hand. I’m not even concerned since I don’t play anymore since I have university to worry about.

        • Anonymous says:

It won’t even work with the other chars because they’re not dual chars, nor were they designed for resource efficency.

And trust me, their base stats aren’t as good compared to the others.

    • Malle says:

No. Let’s not forget that people do not know how to socket correctly so assume the player is an all add player. Usually add will use dual sockets with evasion and accuracy..or for my add I use HP and add damage sockets. However no ib set just regular item mall set so i use attack speed sockets from crafting at alchemists. This will not work for LuCiel. I use add as example because we are stuck on the theory that he is broken (Weakest and squishiest char in game in my opinion but i digress). LuCiel no doubt should have a good set of evasion sockets plus a bit of attack speed due to lack of good hitboxes. This is said for them using any general SD gear. I see alot of glitter and drag on luciels. That and the aspiration sets. However costumes do pose a threat depending on of you get a costume with a set effect. Since we are no longer able to access previous raid bosses i have not checked to see if we can still glave exchange our peices so we don’t have to worry abbot extra sockets anymore. Though if they double up on socket effects like they did on their SD sets that could be really bad. Not to mention the ammy they are using. I myself have 3 level 10 amulets ready for use. And thinking about remember they can remove LuCiel buff that they put on when we first began the release. See…there are good and bad sides. Not to mention they will Nerf DL eventually. Just think positive guys and enjoy the game.

  • dark says:

i can see lu/ciel with 30% evasion 30% red dmg tanking hyper or simply walking out of it for the endless miss
and add the mk4 and 3-x set effects together + hp like 200k hp + move and jump like hack for all the map and the shared 1 hit kill <,< just NO

  • Endgame says:

These extra stats won’t help Lu and Ciel suck less in PVE since it’s ALL about field clearing now that Smaug allows for anyone to get easy access to +10 amulets, nor will they even be better than Add in PVP. (And keep in mind you people also make Add out to be way better than he really is as well.)

    • MagicSpice says:

DL still does a hellish amount of damage.

anyone using the legend weapon at +10 on that lu/ciel class should have bossing potential out the ass, and pvp is basically trying to do bossing on your opponent.

i wouldn’t write them off just yet, they’re basically like add with broken moves, but low hp

    • Anonymous says:

You do know that stats can help with field clearing, right?

Also, anyone getting +10 amulets? I dunno about KR, but in NA I can’t get a single one!

      • L says:

Well, NA has been getting the short end of the stick for releases and give aways compared to KR.

      • L says:

What Endy is getting at is that the extra boost in stats will be negligible in pve that is heavily reliant on field clearing skills. I’m not quite sure, but I think it may be the lack of non buggy hit box field clearing skills that will cripple LuCiel. Even with the extra stats, the inability to dish out large amounts of damage over an area or something is what seems to be the issue.

        • Endgame says:

          Correct.

EM, VP, CE, CBS, and GA, they have skills that cover large areas. They get to destroy enemies before the player can even get to them.

Add has his auto-aim skills, but they’re only good for attacking what’s already on his screen.

Lu and Ciel….. are mostly melee oriented with some screen clearing skills. But not FIELD clearing skills. Just like Add, only gets to hit what’s already on the screen.

And in terms of bossing, even Code Nemesis with a +10 can curbstomp Scar. The inflated HP of Lanox enemies makes it hell for those without +10s, but the way weapon scaling works, +10s destroy everything.

And yes, on KR at least, the chests in the Perkisas raid have a chance of dropping +10 amulets. And it’s apparently not even that low since one person said he got three of them in the first week.

          • L says:

Well, in NA, were are probably going to get a lower drop rate like Devcat did for Vindictus. Good thing s3 Seal shops are coming. Now we’ll have a lot more players playing s2 and s3.

          • UNub says:

There have been plenty of videos released where classes like Noblesse don’t have issues clearing. This stacking socket benefit does fix them as it allows them to reach 50% crit easily. You do not need to be a “jesus clear” class to be doing well in PvE. Don’t know where people get this idea from. Also, it’s pointless to take GA at all with only her Hyper being relevant field clear, on a 90/180 sec CD.

The theories you’re proposing are also completely hypothetical. You need an amnesia ticket to be even attempting for those +10s at such a decent rate, which means money. There’s also the fact of the matter that other classes within the game still exist and they do not have terribly bad times in PvE once they get +7s (which are now able to be gotten like water).

          • L says:

@UNub, I think Endy is just ranting and complaining. If people wrote stuff that took both sides of the conversation, we wouldn’t get anywhere, especially if this was on the youtube comments. I get spammed for doing that or even threatened by people on the comments. Besides, we all need a Devil’s advocate to make us work harder to defend our side of the argument.

          • Anonymous says:

UNub, you do realize that the players in those videos are pretty no-lifers, right?

Lu and Ciel aren’t as good as those vids make them out to be.

          • UNub says:

I must be a no-lifer too for making underrated classes look better than they are too. Haaaaa, no.

Just because people do not have the decency to get full +7 gear and build their characters adequately does not make certain characters completely useless. Most of the playerbase in many servers cannot actually bring out a character’s full potential, exception being the “easy” characters who get abused by the more skilled players.

And Dreadlord is certainly as strong as those videos make him seem. Noblesse usually needs a +8 or higher to actually do something in a party of +7 gear people. My point still stands that stacking sockets fixes them effectively — Dreadlord will be getting nerfed.

          • L says:

I wouldn’t say no lifer, but rather, individuals that took the time and effort into improving their characters.

BTW, “aren’t as good as those [videos] make them out to be” does not translate to “[just] because people do not have the decency to get full +7 gear and build their characters adequately does not make certain characters completely useless.” In my opinion, I believe Anon is referring to how videos do not give a true estimate to a characters potential because the users tend to only show the good parts or only if they are completely geared. This leads to a bandwagon in which people seem to jump on only to be disappointed because they cannot achieve the same results. This may result in a bitter attitude towards either side. Here, I think Anon is not trying to say that certain characters are useless, he/she may be trying to infer that LuCiel may not be the best. He/she is also pro-revamp, so I do not know why you are arguing with him on the last point.

  • Eleyon says:

This game is just putting too much into nuking out the boss or the boss nuking out the player. Soon as you step into Velder it becomes a game of which character can pull off as many heavy hitter skills just to survive. combos become irrelevant because every mob and it’s momma can SA cheese. Chloe one shots the entire party now? good job KoG. Palace Entrance boss halfs your HP with his roll of you attack? Freaking AWESOME!

Why don’t they think about a Defensive system for all characters. Hold players accountable for being able to dodge and/or block. tired of games acting like defense is taboo or even cheating. lol

  • Malle says:

Now that i read the comments more closely Abe look at noblesse stats i kinda start to smell a nerf incoming….anyone else?
