So this just confirmed we are getting bitch ass Freya instead of Optimus. BS! Optimus is better….but I guess OP comes first….
Optimus is only a better Code Empress, Freyja does not have much similarities with other Characters or Job Changes (maybe TT, but she’s more specialized in air attacks and grenades, TT has still his Siege Shelling

Nah. I played DFO, and let me just say (this is my perspective and opinion, so I’m free for any criticism) that Optimus is not OP. She has been gimped a couple of times during her proto-2nd Awakening and still isn’t as strong as her other counterparts, nor her male alternative, Prime.
She’s not weak though. I love playing f.mechanic in DFO considering how fun and challenging she is to master. Despite her shortcomings, however, it can change in Elsword. After all, KoG just needs to work and adapt her considerably to make her OP.
That aside, as a Freyja main, I’m not sure how is KoG going to apply her playstyle into the system. I’m pretty sure the grenade and bullet buffs aren’t going to be the same as DFO; the passives also might get gimped. I hope they don’t nerf my nitro motor passive and Quartermaster buff.
Quartermaster is vey relevant for Freija. So they might even buff it to be quite honest.
Lemme explain Freiya in a nutshell. You know how Chloe jumps in the air and shoots 3 arrows, imagine rose doing that isntead of arrows she’s throwing dozens of fucking AoE grenades that hurt like fucking hell. That’s Freiya. Also she can basically fucking FLY!

She actually is one of the better FGunner classes. The fact that Freyja is capable to literally flying by equipping all her grenades and jump cancelling using her jetpack says a lot.
It’s actually Optimus that’s the weakest FGunner, because she takes forever to setup and most of her damage output relies on one drone that orbits around her. She’d be a mix of Code Empress and Mastermind, except not as good as either.
Well the flying is going to be pretty broken in Elsword anyways. I mean the closest character that Elsword has to even rival Freyja is CBS in terms of air mobility (Do note, CBS can only use some of her skills and combos in mid-air, Freyja can use nearly all of her skills in mid-air. CBS also can only use spining spiral spectrum 3 times; Freyja can use nitro motor 4 times). Like my friend told me when he realized I was playing F.Spitfire wrong, “No no. You don’t play her like that. You have to imagine Freyja as a B-17 bomber. You take off, fly over the target, release as bombs that are required, and leave.” Well I guess Freyja’s balance depends on the new director; if he’s biased for DNF, they I guess Freyja will be OP.
Kinda hope Optimus is stronger in Elsword than she is in DNF or DFO.
Oh, I forgot. Any DNF or DFO players think that KoG will allow Freyja to keep the fixed damage on her grenades? I shudder in the thought of Freyja being allowed to keep her G-96 Thermobaric grenade. That MONSTER of a grenade is able to do 186k of FIXED DAMAGE at max level. And that’s without Freyja’s grenade mastery passive (100% more damage for grenades and 50% chance to throw 2 grenades).
Praise the pocket sized mini-nuke lol
