Anyways, Add sounds more like a code name to me.
I’m betting that his name is Edward Elric and he names his metal friend Alphonse.

His full name is Edward Grenore. There was an overlay thing that had some biodata about Add on it.
“Add” is probably from the Hangeul reading of “Ed”, since the “A” and “E” sounds are the same (kinda like the Japanese “L” and “R” sounds).
Who the hell names their kid “Elsword” is the real question. “He shall be named after our life source and my weapon of choice, the sword!”
Elkashu wanted to feel better about his own name, which is too similar to “el cashew”.
…..Why didn’t he take it out on Elesis? Because precious firstborn child. She’s the special one. Elbrat’s the unwanted second unplanned child. Duh.
The precious first born who left her younger brother to fend for himself to become Velder’s new shining star and not give a damn about anyone else, like every other character in the game.
The main character is literally named Elsword.
I highly doubt “Add” would be a weird name in Elrios. Blus none of the ESP says it’s a weird name, either.
First is a LN, now we have a voice webtoon. Although I am happy that I can understand more about the character I main in game but isn’t Add getting like…..too much focus?

Yes, but there’s a reason for that:
Add is what’s keeping the game alive.
Most of the old players left the game and are never coming back. But Add brought in a whole new audience with his edgelordness + braindead gameplay and replaced those players. He is the most popular character in the game at this point. (Source: KOG. They announced there are more level capped Adds than anyone else.)
It’s why Add has his own VN.
It’s why they refuse to nerf Add. (At least not without buffing him back up shortly afterwards.)
Elesis is their favorite child. But they have to make money. And Add makes them that money….. I guess. I mean, you’d think the female characters generate more income due to costume sales. But then again, Elsword is the only game out there that makes you pay $10 per character just to use more that 4 skills…..
So Add gets all the good shit even though they really tried to push Elesis on us. (There’s a video of the real life event they had advertising Elesis in South Korea where things got to creepy levels with people being paid to draw Elesis on attendants’ hands….. maybe I should go dig it up. I have a feeling I’ll be needing it at some point.)
Add is an easy to learn, hard to master character. True Add masters are not brainless, they simply know his strengths and weaknesses and play off of them.
First we had Lu and Ciel, now we have Add. Who else do we need a full back story for… oh right, everyone!
We’re going to get them probably. All of these are appearing now that the Elsword storyline is ending.
Really all I want to know is Elsword and Chung’s real names.
Elsword’s real name is Elsword.
Is it an odd name? Yes. So is “Elkashu”, the name of his father.
And Elesis isn’t exactly normal either.
But End, she had a different name before she even came to Elsword. KOG is at fault for that for GrandChase reasons.
Have you not heard of Chungs real name? It’s Prince Seiker. He is going by Chung until he saves Hamel or so he thought he was gonna change it

Okay.
-Elbrat sacrifices himself to stop Solace’s plan. (Whatever the hell it is. The game didn’t tell us.)
-Elesis becomes the new El Lady.
-Elesis revives Elbrat because El Lady.
-Now that Elesis is the El Lady and that no one can tell her she can’t marry her brother, Elbrat and Elesis get married!
-Velder officials decide “Fuck it.” and let the glitters keep Velder. Glitter and dark elf orgy ensues.
-William is revealed to be the true true mastermind behind everything. It was his plan all along to breed an army of half-glitter half-dark elf soldiers! Mwahahahahahahahahaha!
-Aisha says “Fuck it.” and moves to Closers.
…..Okay, that last one is extreme wishful thinking on my part. But you KNOW William’s hybrid army and ElesisxElbrat ending is happening!
Solace did this to save/kidnap El Lady for some kind of dumb reason that is supposed to be good.
El Lady is alive inside in her pod. She takes control of Elesis before Solace kills them and she comes in to save the group.
After Solace and El Lady have their moments, she once again assumes her role as a figurehead/puppet as they lock her away in another tower.
Chung takes his name back and watches over the El Lady with Elesis or Raven to ensure this never happens again.
Aisha goes back to travelling and looks for her grandfather.
Elsword goes back to Ruben and trains the next group of members, replacing Lowe.
Eve and Add run off somewhere to restart the Nasod Race.
Ara continues to search for a way to save her brother seeing as he isn’t dead in the story line, just missing.
Rose returns to her country only to find that it never existed in Elrios.
Lu leaves for the demon realm with her butler and is never heard of again.
Rena comes to accept that Raven isn’t over his fiancee. She returns to her home, carrying a souvenir from her travels called a baby.
Now can anyone guess what will happen at the end of the story?

Well dang, apparently the previous El Lady is dead and now Solace has very little reason to be here now.
If you guys worked at KOG, those theories would make the game 1000% better than what it current is

A game theory? That and I am guessing based on 2nafish’s gameplay. It seems as though El Lady is with Solace. She is still alive, but I don’t know why it feels like she’ll die and be replaced soon.

All we know is Elesis is confirmed to be next El Lady. In other words, you guys can see the damn future.
As in, he isn’t and wasn’t ever a romantic interest for her. I was talking to Endgame though.
Oh, that is what you meant. In my theory, the El Lady has a moment with Solace and we get the usual rpg speech about the final boss’ actions. Now, What do you think will happen, Mine?
I’ve already seen the dungeon and I haven’t seen any type of ending or beginning with the El Lady, instead he puts a flower at her grave before the fight. Solace’s theme is also “good dude fallen to darkness out of obsession” most likely because of the El Lady, since he kidnapped her and the El Crystal blew up, you should read on Elwiki about Elsword’s history.
Since I don’t know Korean, I have no idea what happens, but we most likely get a decisive fight. There’s no moment of regret or indecision with Solace until his ending speech before he dies, which I can’t translate.
I think 2nafish translated the last chapter. Is there a reason why the last image is LK fading out in a white background?

People were saying that the final trial success was a different ending than when you fail the trial. Something about defeating him before 2nd phase. Do you know anyone who did this before?
I am not sure, but I think that you just have clear the final trial and that killing before 2nd phase doesn’t really matter. I am hoping that someone has the details on the ending.

The “True” Ending is just a change in dialogue when you beat the trial, that is all. Nothing special happens. No dungeon clear video, or village clear video

Elbrat, Aisha, and Rena get “backstory quests” that don’t actually tell us anything about them that we didn’t already know.
Add and Ciel get voice acted comics telling us new information about them. (Lu didn’t get anything. She just sat there and was loli cancer even though she could have used the backstory elaboration much more than a Raven copypaste.)

From what i can understand out of this webcomic stuff… they are making them from Lu/Ciel then might go backwards till reaching Elboy… Anyway… i kinda hate Add (i started liking him with the LN) but i wanted to know more about his past, since the game doesn’t say much.

Well lest be fair anti-heroes are always the selling product and the character that most guys want to be…example wolverine over cyclops, zero over X, Batman over superman ( Despite this one being op as sh..t) and of course Add over the Elbrat….Raven can enter here too but i think Add popularity is better
Zero isn’t an anti-hero. He’s straight up heroic and was only “bad” when he was reprogrammed after being rebuilt (X2, battle can be avoided.), and when corrupted by the Zero virus. (X5, also completely avoidable although the fight still happens no matter what.)
He’s more popular than X because Inafune pushed him more. And Inafune pushed him more because he was the original design he had for X before Capcom made him redesign him to look more like Mega Man.
Also, too many people confuse X’s more pacifist nature with being a pussy.
