I honestly have nothing to say about this. This answers all the questions I had about Add and even gives us info on why he ended up where he is. In the end, his mother gave her life to protect her son from his insane father.
it was already implied all along, but I’m really glad that they’re finally confirming Add’s mother as the one that Add wants to save
(but the Diabolic Esper background story and this one doesn’t seem to match up; in this one it’s mentioned that there were already leftover coordinates Add could use to go back, but in Time Tracer storyline, he has to find and calculate himself? Idk.
Either way, we all know Add’ll never get his happy ending or resolution to save his mother in the nightmarish past becuz the game story would end for him then Lol. unless they actually do that and that make it so he brings her to the present timeline or something. that actually would be pretty nice.
but knowing KOG, prolly gonna not happen.

That could be explained with the time corruption sickness( not shure if that’s the name) that tiime tracer got infected with, probably due to a slight mistake or miscalculation on add’s part or perhaps just a slight defect that caused him to forget some things, like the coordenates of time travel.

…..So between this and Time Trouble, is KOG pushing TiT/DE as the “canon” path for Add?
Sure, the ending videos go with LP. But hey, why not just plain retcon them? They contain retcons themselves. (Ara in Feita! Elesis in Velder!)
I still see LP as canon no matter what.

Actually no, I do have something to say.
WHY ARE WE STARTING WITH ADD WHEN WE LITERALLY HAVE 7 MORE CHARACTERS THAT NEED THIS WEBTOON MORE THAN EDWARD DOES.
Last time it was Lu/Ciel, now is Add. Maybe the next will be Elesis? If there are going to be more comics about the characters, I think they will go from the newest to the oldest.
I think it’s mostly because Add is the only character who’s past is a bit clouded in mystery, there’s been so many questions as to how he could be human with his eye and how he came to Elrios in the first place. The only other character who could possible have a secretive past would be Luciel (who also have their OWN webtoon)

There is nothing more important than Aisha’s storyline. WHICH WE HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT.

In addition to Aisha, of which we have no clue about beyond the incident with the ring (We have no idea where she’s even from, but we know exactly where everyone else is from.), we also have nothing about Rena or the elven race at large.
Ok. From a historical stand point, Aisha could be a reference to one of Muhammad’s (prophet of Islam) wives. Considering that her opening scene starts in a desert like environment, there is that connection. Also her name sounds Arabic. Based on the evidence, I think she might be from the “Middle East” part of the world and her tribe ppl are Bedouins and she might come from a Muslim family.
We started with Ciel, actually.
Not even Lu who actually could have used it since we have zero lore on the demons. (Granted, the ingame side story focuses on Lu and that doesn’t tell us much neither. But it does retcon Karis being the one who sealed her away as clearly shown in their intro…..) She was just there to be “kawaii”. The comics were all about Ciel.
And it made him into even more of a Raven clone.
We didn’t start with add. We started with LuCiel. They’re doing it backwards most likely because those characters have less gaps in their backstory that need to be filled in where as the earlier characters have huge gaps and plotholes that need to be filled and worked around.
Why does Add’s mother have to have such a cute face while she’s looking around the office…
Yeah, having her make an anime expression during a serious moment like that was uncalled for.
