I personally am expecting a healer from the “Angel” point of view. Perhaps a rapier, saber, or short-sword if they are to wield a blade.. if I had to choose a weapon for them though… It’d definitely be a shield.
personally i think they should do a fighter character that uses fists. I know add might be that character but he doesn’t use his fists completely he use those dynamos/knives to wield electric energy attacks.

Honestly, the chances of him being male are fairly high. At least on my point of view, the name “Ain” feels much more fitting on a male rather than a female, and the way he talks on the text pass this impression too.
Female characters are more universally appealing than male characters. Especially when it comes to Elsword where the primary audience for male characters are little shits too insecure in their sexuality to play a female character.

Also, whether it’s true or not that there have been more players playing as female chars, in terms of the actual characters of the game, it wasn’t until Elesis’s release that the difference in number between males and females was more than one, which Add brought back down to 1, and it wasn’t like that again until Rose came out.

This retcon probably de-emphasizes Karis’ death by letting Anduran not mention that she died. Also, it removes that part about the angels.
(I can’t find any quote of Karis mentioning angels even though I already saw it in the UK translation of Elsword (that was in Void Elsword before it’s changed) or I might be wrong, so probably Endgame would provide that.)
I got it from 2nafish’s old forum post where he translated the Sander story quests after they released in KR. And the angel thing was alluded to in the Sander ending video with the feather at the end.
Then after the story quest revamp, 2nafish said they changed Karis’ death quote to be about her saying that soon all of “god’s creation” will bow before the demon realm.

That said, maybe they removed Chung saying “Angel” because Karis didn’t say that in the Story Quest Dialogue, ’cause I looked at a version of the Sander Story page that had Chung saying “Angel”, and Karis still mentioned the “Ancient God” back then, but never said anything about Angels in that story quest dialogue. As for the death quote thing, can anyone prove that it was changed?

How would people react if it was a character that the player choose the gender of, either through a skill or ability that swapped or by giving two choices of outfits with the base ones(under the costume pieces) are gender neural, so if you want a female, you can play as a female, if you want to play as a male, you can play as a male.

Not really. If it’s just one char that could be either gender, then it’s not really going to sell any more costumes than any other char.
LuCiel could sell more, but only because they were a dual char with separate costume slots.
