It’s going to come out on the 10th. They already announced they’re doing a special viewing of episode 1 of the anime and that there will be a bonus video attached to it. Clue #2 that we were getting a new character. (The first clue, of course, was that we’ve been getting a new character on the third Thursday of December for years now.)
I mean it wasn’t guaranteed this year. As far as it stands for 3 years we haven’t gotten a character on the third Thursday of December. So as far as I’m concerned we had a 66% chance for a new char. I’m more impressed that kog managed to prelude something for about a year now and nobody figured it out immediately. KoG dropped a hint back at Karis’s sander dialogue at her cursing the angels and ancient goddess, which the story had literally 0 focus on at the time. Kudos for that. Also elesis wasn’t the only one who got a big turnout, lu/ciel had a pretty big turnout as well.
I said Elesis was the only one to get a big event all about her.
Did Lu have people hired to paint her on children’s hands?
Lucile did have a cosplay session which elesis didn’t have, so there’s that. Painting peoples hands isn’t really a big deal. People do that at children’s birthday parties so I don’t think it’s really a big event. I mean of course cosplay isn’t really, but regardless she honestly didn’t have as big a turnout as Lucile which packed an entire stadium.

I’m more concerned about the nerfs that this guy is gonna get in the future. I wonder how busted his future job changes will be. I totally don’t mind a new playstyle though (please KoG don’t make him a clone of multiple characters like you did to rose).
Ikr. But he seems to be a KoG original (not like that’s good either but still) so I don’t think he’s a copy paste. I’ve looked up ain and there’s not any game with him in it… Well at least a game that has ain and looks like him.
Well, there’s certainly no signs that he’s going to be a blatant rip-off of pre-existing characters the same way Elesis and Add were rule 63s and it was pretty clear as soon as we saw the silhouette of a giant claw that little Lu was going to be ripping off Raven. (Her basic X mashing combo is just like RF’s.)
His weapon is unique. That’s a positive sign that MAYBE they have new ideas for this guy.
…..However, this is KOG we’re talking about here. Add only had one unique skill and Lu & Ciel had none, only modified versions of pre-existing skills with new animations. (Complete with Noblesse even blatantly stealing Aisha’s base job stage start animation.) My expectations are low.

knowing KOG though, they’ll at least fuck up balance…. with either Ain doing too much damage, or not enough….
Um question 2na…so not field patch update from Feita/Peita to Elysion? I really don’t want to do those field quests…
But looking forward to new character to play with!
Fields quests were completely removed tho, now you only have 1 dungeon side quest per town that gives you some trash potions. (not sure about it in Belder and onwards but I guess it’s the same case as it was in Ruben to Peita)
I know, we have that change in NA, was kinda hoping that those updates would continue on from with this update.
I believe not, but one can hope that they would do those changes with this update, lol.
