Not going to lie, I kinda get salty when they have free giveaways because NA will never get it because our GM’s are too shitty and selfish to do something like this.
KR server have these events to keep the players around!
If they actually opened the server to internationals, that side of things won’t be an issue but being Asians (and i’m half one…) they will complain and have done so in the thousands in the past to ban the oversea players from playing in the KR (mother-test server as 2na mentioned in a livestream…).
Why they complain, LAG!!!
They do have better net connection than the western world has, which is a given, so they want smooth runs and they do get bored easily so these events are meant to keep them around, NA and a few other servers don’t have that issue, the population of people constantly coming back and playing is quite high that they don’t need these events to keep players around.
In saying that, doesn’t mean they don’t have comps and events of this sort, you just have to keep an eye on website, forums and facebook to see what they are and some of the time they are like the sweepstakes, where if you login for a certain amount of days you are guaranteed free stuff like, last time i remember that happening was the year before where you got free timed mounts and kc.
Just keep checking back daily for new stuff and don’t forget to enter the comps to win some extra kc. They do them often. Good luck!

Yes it will be issue. The reason KR is not opening the server for internationals is because if they do more scammers and hackers will come . Besides NA will come to KR and ruin their servers .

KR isn’t their only playerbase…
I’m not saying it’s justified that the events are watered down in NA, but it is true that NA players are more likely to lag on KR, since they’re further away from where the server is.
Most NA veterans always pretend they are fine with the way their sv is and scold anyone who disagree with them. Why KoG have to change then ???
Well I had a friend who actually quit the game purely because of the watered down events.
