D killed CBS in his timeline to obtain the core, the CBS we saw here is the ideal version D tried to create and managed to create. Think of it functioning similar to Add rewinding the time, the result is not instantaneous but slow and progressive.
To sum it up, D succeed in bringing his ideal version of CBS into that universe through the spacetime wormhole

One thing, why is Elesis the last one to be resurrected if she was the most recently killed? I thought he was reviving them in backwards order of when they were killed since the whole room was rewinding and basically their dead bodies were coming back to life.

as usual parts of the scenario this time around were also typical and cliche but that twist ending blocks me from predicting what happens next….
