Le Gasp! Seris shows up! Ahh… She’s so cute!
So….. King Nasod brainwashed a bunch of humans (The most notable one being a convicted “criminal” who was dying.) and exploited a tyrant who oppressed and killed his people in order to try to prepare for the demon invasion….. instead of trying to warn the humans and try to work out an alliance?
…..
Eh.
So, can this comic at least confirm that Raven hunted down Owen and killed him while he was in rage mode so we can at least get closure on that storyline? Because, seriously. An asshole who framed someone else for assassination of a political rival (Or so I would think. The crime Raven is charged with is never specified.) is still out there. Surely that is something that should be addressed, lest Velder be rebuilt with a corrupt noble pulling the strings.
Oh who am I kidding? KOG’s never going to properly address anyone’s backstory. (Remember Ran being Ara’s corrupted brother? Neither does KOG. Hell, I don’t think they remember Ran period…..)
Yes, can we talk about where the hell Ran went after he fled Hamel and warned Karis the El Search Party was coming?
You know, in the Hamel clear movie.

To be fair, humans and Nasods weren’t exactly on good terms.
Also in regards to Ran, they did do an update with him and gave us some more story beats with Ain’s released (since Ain’s story does add new things). While they really haven’t done anything with Ran after the events of Hamel, Ain’s story did elaborate more about what exactly is going on with Ran and teased us with some backstory stuff. Being that Aren had summoned the demon Ran who then took over him, with the two still being in a bit or a moral conflict with the demon half being the main one in control.
Ooh boy. This is getting rather interesting, although I suppose I expected Seris to sound more Rena-y.

also are we ever gonna explore Raven’s past in-game? Like directly faceoff against that traitorous whatshisnameRaven’sformerbestfriendAKAguywhohuntsSerisandRaven ?
Like I said, if anything good can come from this comic, it’s confirming that mind controlled Raven dealt with Owen so that loose end is tied up instead of ignored like everything else involving Velder. (Which is still under demon occupation…..)
What will Raven find when she crosses that door? (My highest to lowest XD possibilities)
1) Your counterpart
2) Owen
3) The Seris
4) An old comrade of yours
5) The nasod responsible for turning it into what it is
6) A relative (if you have one, it is not going to be that KOG suddenly gets a little sister like he did with Ciel … ._.)
7) A new character to be included in the game XD
