Meh, I’d only get it if the stats were worth it, and even then, that wouldn’t be likely, since it’s an event-only costume, and I want all my chars to have the same equipment.
Stats this and stats that. Not saying thats a bad thing but do stats really matter? Just read boss patterns and then use just skill for pvp-wait nevermind.
I don’t PvP, though. Also, while I can handle some Heroic dungeons, there are some I cannot handle (mainly Elysion, but Elysion Heroic makes no sense anyway).
Fair enough. I don’t wanna be all high mighty and all, especially since I do agree that some heroic dungeons are really hard to do and having low gear can make it tedious work and patience. But I do usually like believing that skill can surpass gear in dungeons (like plenty of players can +6 or even no gear the end game dungeons). Doesn’t matter though, no skill can surpass the clear time that gear is capable of.

@Malle Actually, he’s right, ’cause even if you have the most skill out of all the players, having the best gear will still be a tremendous help.
@Flare True, no way can I finish Heroic with no gear equipped within the average clear time.

To be fair, the drops in ranking don’t have to be from drops in player numbers. It could just be that the other games are also getting more players.
Is dropping off even that big of a deal? I mean, I’m sure there are more than 50 mmos that exist in Korea that make a hefty amount of money from their respective playerbases.
It is a big deal when you’re one of those loons on the side of the road advertising the apocalypse. You cling to every hope you can to keep shouting “DEAD GAME”.
It is a big deal considering Elsword used to consistently be in the top 20 or 30 but now it struggles just to stay in the 40s.
There was more goodwill towards Grand Chase at the time KOG announced they’re pulling the plug than there is to Elsword now.
It’s still in the top 50, ain’t it?
Going to just post it here but… Elsword is currently 33 and Closers is currently 38 the week I’m posting this.
Let this just a note of how wildly fluctuating ranking can be for any game that isn’t like the top 10 since those are always in that general area.
It’s not wildly fluctuating. Closers has been in the 30s for months now and hasn’t done anything in three weeks. (But J is about to get his 3rd job advancement so that’s about to change.)
And Elsword has been in the lower 40s and even fell off ever since the Ain hype died down. It’s sudden surge to #33 is a little surprising…..
…..Until I read the Treasure Hunter event details. (Log on every day for tokens for free stuff.) And then I said “Oh.”
They’re pulling a BDO and Vindictus move by doing daily rewards. Nothing to do in the game, so giveaways are being run for the time being to sate the dissatisfied mob.
the new custome suit seem silly? good… but irrelevant none the less.

So no updates for the week of May 9th?
Not surprised since last year was a big year for Elsword, but idk I expected them to dish out more free stuff. Now it’s just revamps back to back.
Not that I mind, but I’ve recently got that Elsword spark back after they released Apostasia and Ereda (idk why but I fucking LOVE ereda. Both old and new versions) and the magic wardrobe (even though it’s being updated constantly)
When are they gonna release Luto’s Traces/Illusion for Rose and Ain?!
Probably when they have nothing better to release.
