  • Endgame says:

The creature clearly appears to be a canine. But Aisha coming into contact with it has given her feline features.

    …..

Well, that’s not the strangest thing about the comic. The artist is aware that Aisha is supposed to be 12 at this point, right? I mean, she certainly acts more like a 12 year old than she does early in the game’s storyline when she’s 15. But….. I can’t help but notice her chest is bigger in this comic than in her most recent base job artwork…..

Hey, don’t look at me like that. Supplemental comics in the past kept on making Aisha’s boobs a focus. (And spawned the idiotic notion that she was somehow flat even though….. she never was. Does KOG even play their own game?)

    • Flare Kyn says:

Actually, compared to the current base class artwork, I’d say it’s about the same size.

And I still haven’t seen any official confirmation that she was 12 back then. Even the Elwiki page for her side story doesn’t mention anything about her age or how long ago that story was.

      • Jasdafar says:

        https://elwiki.net/w/Aisha
        It’s right there my dude.
“At the tender age of 12…”

        • Gameboy224 says:

Well, she was 12 when she was considered a master magical. Nowhere is is mentioned when her powers were taken.

But reading her Side Story. Unless it took her like 3 years to deduce that Ruben’s El could help her recover her powers, I’d say no more than a few months.

So at youngest, I’d say she’s still 14 in this story. 13 if I’m being generous. But it is unlikely this takes place that long ago.

          • Flare Kyn says:

Given that she’s pretty smart for her age, I also doubt she took 3 years to think of using Ruben’s El Shard.

        • Flare Kyn says:

What it’s saying is that she was considered a powerful mage when she was 12, not that she was 12 when her powers were stolen.

          • Levian says:

in fact, the caracter story in game, says she was asleep about 3 weeks after her powers was stolen, and then she started her way to ruben after her grandpa tells her about the EL in Ruben…
and in her Bio says that Aisha was 16 when she is on her base job :x

    • Barbas says:

As I said in the Wedding Invitation Event Information post,
“it was stated in her profile that she is already a mage of the highest order at the age of 12 UNTIL,up to the point in time , she lost her powers.

In Lost Powers 7, shortly after she lost her powers, she was doing some research while resting and talking to her grandfather.
Kuenbaran: Will you leave for Ruben?
Aisha: Yes, not just Ruben. I’ll follow everywhere that has El Shards are. That’s the only thing I can do after all…

So yeah, Aisha already found a clue to find that ring. I doubt she search all over the world for 3 years until she finally went to Ruben.”

      • Endgame says:

Her intro implies she’s been exploring for some time before she wound up in Ruben and got sidetracked with the whole Banthus situation which kept leading into something else.

Plus we still have no idea where the hell she’s even from…..

        • Endgame says:

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh9ay8SpZc4

She was traveling the world looking for El Shards trying to find the ring. Traveling the world isn’t something someone does in a day, let alone less than a year.

So let’s just chalk this one up to “lolretcons”.

          • Gameboy224 says:

Unless she lost her powers the same year she was reached the highest rank of Magician-dom. It probably hasn’t been that long.

Also this is a quote from her side story. “Yes, not just Ruben. I’ll follow everywhere that has El Shards are. That’s the only thing I can do after all…” So no, they did account for it.

Also, traveling the world doesn’t mean one has made it that far already. She is traveling the world, she hasn’t traveled the world. Ruben was probably her first major destination.

          • Flare Kyn says:

The phrase “let alone” is usually used for an action that requires another action to do. Yeah, it’s not done in a day, but it CAN be done in a year. Hell, there’s real-life people who traveled all over Earth in a year’s time – and Aisha’s only been traveling the continent, not the entire planet.

          • Flare Kyn says:

Gameboy also makes some good points.

Simply put, while she could be 12 at the time, she could also be 13 or 14. There’s no proper evidence to how long ago she lost her power.

  • Endgame says:

I just woke up and apparently NA is going up in flames because KOG got caught being corrupt pieces of shit.. (Uhh, wasn’t it already obvious? Wasn’t there a livestream of someone getting banned “for hacking” by a GM just because he won a PVP match against him?) Hahahahahaha….. glorious.

This almost makes up for not being able to log on to Closers for the past 12 or so hours for a “server connection failed” error message. (Even though everything else is working just fine for me.)

Speaking of which, could this incident kill NA Elsword before NA Closers is a thing? That would be disappointing…..

  • Endgame says:

Remember what happened to you last time you said that?…..

Well, you’ve got a point this time. I should spread this around for those who aren’t aware.

    • Gameboy224 says:

So complete stupid people doing stupid shit to support even more stupid shit? Cause I mean it all started with someone betting real money ingame.

      • Flare Kyn says:

I do think perma-banning him was too harsh (not to mention the stupidity in those ticket replies), I don’t think Money Matches should be allowed in the first place.

        • Flare Kyn says:

Okay, so now that I’ve read Gameboy’s explanation of that, KoG wasn’t as stupid as I thought. Additionally, a friend of mine on Discord told me that Vaffle was doing that for years and knew it was wrong, so… I guess he did deserve it after all?

    • Flare Kyn says:

My point was, you didn’t post any links in the original comment! Not everyone will know what you’re talking about right away!

      • Flare Kyn says:

And last time, I said you can’t provide evicence! This time, I said you don’t provide it right away! So no, endgame, your comment just now did NOT prove me wrong! And even back then, I was able to counter your evidence: granted, it wasn’t a perfect counter, but a counter nonetheless!

    • Gameboy224 says:

To be more polite. The reason the dude was banned was actually completely within reason. He hosted a money match, which means he was betting real cash. That falls under gambling which is still illegal both as a law and within the game’s ToS. He got banned under claims of gambling which are completely valid given the circumstances.

      • Flare Kyn says:

Then why are Ice Burners okay?

        • Gameboy224 says:

Gambling only really applies if real tangible cash is both put in and potentially won. With Ice Burnes you aren’t gambling for them, you buy them. Just so happens the thing you are buying is an RNG gachapon, but that doesn’t fall under the legal definition of gambling which has to involve items of tangible financial value, namely actual cash. This which exist ingame don’t have tangible financial value. K-Ching or items would not count either since K-Ching also has no real tangible financial value, they might be able to get away if they were just betting items. However once you bring IRL cash into the equation, then legal issues potentially arise.

          • Flare Kyn says:

            Guess that makes sense.

          • L says:

What about people who buy and sell sets for real money? IIRC, there was a website for trading accounts, sets, and etc for any mmo including Elsword.

          • Endgame says:

I think you guys are missing the core detail of why shit’s gotten real.

Y’know. The part where KOG bribed players with +12 amulets to silence them…..

          • Joe says:

He did not explain how the RNG is rigged. So the amulet could have been from anything and he says it’s bribery because he knows everyone will believe the victim.

          • Flare Kyn says:

Some of the best lies have some truth in them.

But even then, not everyone will fall for them.

          • L says:

Bribery in the sense of free stuff is what a lot of games do to appease the peasants from rioting or leaving for another game if an issue occurs that hurts them. For instance, BDO gives out free shit and gearing events whenever servers goes down or when players start to flame the forums about crappy servers.

The same can be said about KOG and Nexon, whenever something goes wrong, the publisher who technically handles most of the interaction with the players tends to get the game developers to come up with a way to pacify their most annoyed consumers from leaving over an extended maintenance, corrupted game files, servers not up, banned unjustly during a ban wave, account was hacked due to terrible security, and stuff like terrible PR events that leaves players flipping desks.

This bribing is a core component of gaming as we seek compensation for any issues in return for not leaving their gaming community.

          • L says:

RNG is rigged based on how its done. Certain games treat rng as a sort of increasing value, where the chance increases to a certain point when you grind.

Some have it as a % with each roll being the same odds.

So, they are not rigged per say, just low odds in general. If you want a consistent and reliable value for your money to get stuff, try low index funds. You might also want to diversify your portfolio though. Turning your stocks into bonds are a good idea for some, but it might not be so great for everyone since the equity returns are terrible. Actively managed funds can be a nightmare and probably even worse rng than ice burners if you have something like 3% fee.

In my opinion, the money you spend on ice burners would be better off spent on a diversified portfolio managed with a fiduciary. Look for fee only, not fee-based. Find a fiduciary who is open to starting a relationship. Oh and if someone tells you that ETFs are great, what they mean is that its a good alternative to mutual funds with lower fees.

  • Um says:

Yeah I see a lot of players saying similar stuff. Like NA needs to die and KR can do what it wants because it’s better. Cause the corruption is here in NA way less so KR. Or since you said politics you know….NKR can bomb SKR and Nexon KOG all Korean MMO’s can get wipped from the earth in a cross fire between both KR’s China, Japan and NA…..Scary times we live in.

  • Doubling down on my post says:

Ok so we know what’s going on with Vaff and honestly the whole thing stinks both sides imo. So Vaff claims “I was bribed with a +11 ammie. The fact that it’s from 2015 makes the evidence less “convincing” in a court of law. This is like rape cases or torture. If I came out and said oh I was violated 20 years after the incident I’m screwed. Most likely no action will be taken. Which brings me to today’s trump news media nowadays.. They say IF DONALD TRUMP JR. KNEW that russia wanted to talk to him WHY didn’t he tell the FBI? IF HILARLY CLITION KNEW she was given questions ahead of the debate WHY didn’t she tell the FBI? This violates our democracy. This is the point here sure we know what KOG did. And KOG can’t be forgiven but IF and I say IF KOG did offer that +11 then I hate to say it. Vaff is as guilty as KOG. Vaff you had a following I know biting the bullet earlier would have hurt aka exposing earlier. But you got to understand here you could have killed this game earlier and at that 2015 point we were already ded gaem. Not speaking up about that +11 when you got it was a mistake. Which now brings me to KOG the money match shit BS. To me and it’s a iffy issue to talk about. Cause 1 side says do it for competitiveness etc etc. and the other side says “people will get hurt” “quote by forumer NA. I personally am all for MM as it fires up playbases etc etc. KOG is wrong for shooting the perma ban when it should be a minor offense. And I back Vaff here as Vaff DID expose how much of it was going on. But IF and I can’t say myself IF the MM was against KOG rules then that’s on you. You became an accomplice to the issue by agreeing to have a illegal mm even if that piece of shit reported you for it.. HOWEVER, I didn’t see these rules against MM so to Vaff’s defense I back you that you were falsely banned. This whole thing reeks. On one side I’m mad cause if Vaff does kill NA ,while I’m ok with that, Vaff won’t be seen as a hero because you ruined a game for other people. But at the same time I get how pissed Vaff is and KOG deserves to get smacked for a over harsh ban. As for Vaff I watch videos sometimes and hold no Malice against you. I was never a pvp’r but enjoyed Elsword for what it was “the simplistic lore and cool char designs and all that” so we have to see what happens. Sad this is even an issue right now. I’m pretty neutral on the issue and typical just play Els and mind my own business but to hear that this happened is shocking.
