Factually, Berthe fled due to Elsword’s ability to control El. Aisha just jumped into the fray, however Berthe was already ready to make his leave having encountered Elsword who had the power of legends.

Fuck the newer version. You can’t just retcon the foundation of the story years later to try to push the notion that a character is somehow special then let his big sister get the big moment when the demon god is resurrected.
Due to me being in China atm I can’t see the video.
But, the part where Elsword goes super saiyan with El power is canon. At least I know for certain it is was canon in the early version and the current version. Forget if it happened in the in between version. But Elsword having the power to resonate with El was always canon, they just never really did anything with it till now.
Then there was always Aisha jumping in with a Lightning Bolt. Facing a boy with legendary power and now with reinforcements just wasn’t something Berthe wanted to deal with, so he left.

This story frame is not new. This was illustrated way back when by Ress. As you can see, Super Saiyan El Elboy. I’m also certain there is a super old animated trailer that also features Elsword doing Super Saiyan El. Elsword having these powers were never retconned in. If anything, due to some tutorial revamps in the past, that detailed was retconned out, then back in.

For those who liked the BGM when the spirit lion thingy died, it’s the BGM that was used for the now non-existent rest spot for Altera: Ponggo’s Hideout. I loved that music and should have visited that spot more often.
The kitties should totally come out as pets or mounts.
