*The speed of the wisps will decrease over time as it travels over a large distance.
*Each wisp pierces twice for a total of three hits.

*Tremendously increases in power when used with spirit energy because the both the damage and the number of wisps increase.
*The wisps will not move if there is no enemy within a certain range of them.
*Petrification and freezing ("glaciate" like water orb's effect. Target cannot move) duration is 3 seconds. Burning duration is 10 seconds.
**Unless there is only a single enemy within range, the wisps will attempt to target a different enemy.
*[[Fox Fire]] cannot be Mana broken when the status effect is {{se||Freeze}} or {{se||Conviction}}. However, it can be mana broken if the status effect is {{se||Burn}}.
*When the skill applies {{se||Freeze}}, it is not advised to use it while chain freezing since it deals multiple hits that freeze individually, quickly exceeding the limit of applying {{se||Freeze}} debuff and making the boss immune to freezing for 30 seconds.
*The Petrify debuff is not the same as the actual [[Status Effects|Petrifying]] from [[Attributing Equipment|Weapon Attributes]]. What it does in reality is freeze the target and make it unable to move. This also consumes their ticks.
