  • The Laughing Man says:

Mr. Elsword. Really?! So now Rose gets a story bit.

  • Endgame says:

I haven’t watched the whole thing yet and skipped straight towards the ending video, but all I got was that Elbrat has to go somewhere to do something about the El and that everyone else is just pushing him to go on with it. (With precious sister Elesis LITERALLY pushing him forward.)

…..So in other words, this is KOG’s way of telling us that nobody likes Elbrat and they’re all trying to get rid of him~.

    • L says:

From what I read is that they were basically telling him to fix the problem and they’ll cheer him on while Elesis takes some Tylenol for her headache.

      • L says:

Alright so I watched it and basically, Solace is this guy who likes this girl.

She is abused and he defends her.

He believes its his job and when she is taken away, he feels robbed of purpose and meaning.

Skip a lot of unnecessary chit chat and the El explodes and we are with Elsword.

The gang gives the usual pep talk based on their personality cut outs. Aisha is a tsundere, Eve is the shy girl who has a hard time making friends, and you know the rest.

Elsword chooses and it cuts out.

Basically, at this point you could interpret the ending for yourself.

Personally, I would go all Dark Souls 3 on these characters. Get married and kill her for her sigils so that I can fulfill my purpose even if it robs her of hers. Then start a new age where this stuff doesn’t have to happen.

The El is basically the bonfire.

Either let the age of fire continue by sacrificing another El Lady to the El or begin the age of dark by letting the El die.

        • ThatOneGuy159 says:

I just came back from playing Dark Souls 3 and I saw this. I now must thank you my friend. Lets sit down and have some siegbrau.

        • Mine says:

That’s actually Solace’s sister. But I approve of wincest.

          • L says:

Not really sister, more like adopted sister at most. She came from the same village that he was trying to protect and he is the illegitimate son of the Solace clan. She was brought in after the village was destroyed and he only noticed that she came from the same village after seeing her necklace.

At best, I would say childhood friend/ love interest.

Still hoping for a Dark Souls 3 ending for Elsword.

Want to see Elsword kill some people for their dark sigils and become the lord of the new age.

          • Mine says:

Actually, it’s my bad 100%. I have no idea where I got that from, but she’s surely not a sister, not even an adoptive one. She’s merely a love interest from his same village, yes.

    • Shiba says:

You fully tell us how stupid that taken out of context bro. XD
Everybody likes Elsboy, just except your troll~

    • rem says:

why do people dislike elsword he is a ok character and he is so cool as lk

  • bypasser says:

at least now, a part of the plot was told clearly

  • XshifterX says:

i want a dark version of elsword as the end game boss of this game!!!

  • Black People Smells Good says:

This entire setup just to make Elsword teh chosen one in the plot is just terrible and feels like an unnecessary asspull when we have seen nothing but his ass getting handed to him for half of the plot. Also the fact that everyone else is portrayed to be more likable

    • Endgame says:

Add is a straight up asshole and Lu is only designed to be likeable to lolicons. Otherwise she’s an arrogant little brat. And don’t get me started on DK/CA Elesis.

Elbrat is a prick, sure. But he’s far from the worst.

      • Mine says:

Are you guys pretending or you really are fools?

        • L says:

Only way I can think of this ending well for everyone if this had their own usurpation of fire.

Elsword kills Elesis so End Game is happy.

El is no longer used and Solace is happy.

Elsword is shown as a prick to the consumers and players are satisfied on the forums.

Game is done and KOG staff is now happy to be able to do something else.

  • ThatOneGuy159 says:

I wish Elbrat would of kept the El that way his sister could lose her emotions and we don’t have to see her anymore… oh wait, whats that? She would still be the main center piece of the series? Thanks KoG for making her that way >.>

    • Endgame says:

Reminder that Elesis is somehow linked to the goddess who the world was named after in Grand Chase. (Resemblance, named after her, etc. Granted, this trait is shared with Lire and Arme, who also resemble other goddesses, but Elesis’ goddess was the leader of the three.)

Someone at KOG’s got a hard-on for Elesis. Or maybe that’s a requirement for getting into the higher ranks…..

After all, Elesis is the only character to get official body pillows.

      • Endgame says:

Wait, I think Rose had some body pillows given away as a contest prize when she was first released as well.

        • ThatOneGuy159 says:

Does that mean some one has a hard on for Add? He was the first to have the mini figure and a light novel series.

        • Mine says:

          Eve had body pillows too.

          • L says:

I think everyone at this point had some merchandise made to resemble a part of their body.

          • Endgame says:

The Eve pillow was NA event only and just used her official artwork.

The Elesis pillow was for both KR and JP, there’s two of them, and they both have original artwork made just for the pillow.

          • Mine says:

How does that change that Eve had a body pillow when you claimed otherwise?

          • L says:

It doesn’t really change anything. You could get an image of Raven bending over and print it onto a pillow case and try to sell it as merchandise. All that really matters at this point is whether or not players can keep playing or if the servers will be closing down when they don’t see it as profitable to keep them up.

      • zombiefoot6 says:

Rena has body pillows too. Shouldn’t be a big suprise. Unless i’m confused and they were bobbie mouse pads. Whichever, Rena has them too.

  • Croire says:

….and then, restoring the peace to the land by choosing Solace’s desire, Elsword rewrote the universe’s workings, resetting and restarting a new land free of El’s constraints.

And that was the start of Grand Chase. rofl.

seriously, what’s gonna happen now? start of what beginning? Elsword 2?
    El Chase? Grand Sword??
    Elesisword?

    • Croire says:

also OF course, the cause of everything had to be overreliance on a certain type of energy.
an energy conflict. it all falls down to us not taking care of our environment in the end.

also, henrir was a god and he had a radical cult? wow, so what is glaive then?

      • Mine says:

A magician that overstepped his boundaries in terms of magical knowledge that was punished ala El Lady with a surplus of having to guard Henir’s Time and Space (basically, time and space and everything that keeps it together as seen from the lore).

        • L says:

His punishment is to guard the door to niflheim for all of eternity until his soul is burned up. When his soul is completely consumed, mana will have left the world and by then the world will have lived for millennia.

  • Endgame says:

So let us entertain for a moment the idea that Elsword isn’t in its death throes and will continue long enough to continue the plot past the “ending”. (Grand Chase barely got to continue past Ashtaroth.)

Suppose Elbrat decides to rid the world of El….. what then?

The lore established that the very ground in Elrios was infertile before the El.

We’ve seen what happens when the El of an area is removed or tampered with. The wildlife in Ruben grew out of control. The Shadow Forest became full of ghosts and killer trees. Hamel Kingdom saw an entire city sink underwater and its temple frozen.

Elves need El to remain in Elrios, or else they disappear into another dimension.

Nasod in particular need El to live.

El is what keeps all the water flowing in Hamel.

El has become a core part of life in Elrios. Hell, without its power, could they even fend off the demons? KOG remembers there’s still an entire other dimension of demons, right? Not to mention the glitter army that led a successful campaign in Velder….. which by the way, was never brought up again after they fled to Hamel to find the Red Knights were too busy in Hamel.

…..El is exactly why humans in Elrios have developed what would be deemed superpowers to Earth humans. (Being able to strike the ground and cause lava to erupt is just normal soldier stuff, seeing how the Red Knight NPCs in Hamel can use Flame Geyser too.)

What the hell happens if you get rid of El? Would Elbrat essentially be damning Elrios to its destruction, or in the best case scenario, ruining the way of life in the regions that depend on El, just to keep his precious sister around?

    • L says:

Best scenario they can give is to learn how to adapt if it happens. They probably say the humans evolved as a community and begin to diversify in order to fix their environment.

    • zombiefoot6 says:

I don’t think Demons would be a big problem asuming the lore about the dark El dying with the El is canon. He might do the world a favor. Isn’t 99% of the issues related/a direct result of demon influence?

Isn’t 99% of the issues related/a direct result of demon influence? If demons do rely on dark El to travel across dimensions, it would solve a lot of problems, imo.

  • Estelle says:

…I’m confused…but it looks more movies…but didn’t they say Elysion is the last town? Wonder how they are going to get around this…anywho, can’t wait to hear the bad english dub versions when it gets to NA, i hope for sub, the english voices do my head in… XD

  • zombiefoot6 says:

ALSO OK. I’m triggered. Is elboy base or not? He dialogues with Solace as base, but he has been LK since clearing Velder. WTF KOG.
