But how long is it? We’re still not even close to Winter, and the trailer said “Winter 2017”.
Just because it says it’ll be in winter doesn’t necessarily mean the exact date winter starts. People automatically think that once December hits it is winter, and can we blame them?
Basically what I’m saying is that you shouldn’t take things so literal, remember when we thought Ain would come to NA in a month or 2? Unless it explicitly says the date at which it’ll be released, you can only believe that it’ll come around close to whatever it says it’ll release. Also, there really haven’t been a pre-release that lasted longer than 2-3 weeks. Whether you like it or not, 3rd job is gonna come in early/mid December

Kinda like how Rocket League announced at e3 that they were releasing their game for Nintendo switch at holiday 2017 and instead release it on November 14. Am I right?

I have a feeling that the 3rd Jobs will be way better than we all expected and this was probably a back-up plan that KOG had years ago…just in case if things started to go sour! Because, there’s no way they can come up with so many new ideas for 3rd Jobs between the time they announced this and now. So they DEFINITELY must’ve came up with these ideas beforehand. But, I kind of don’t like how they are making this now and leaving out Trans as the unofficial 3rd Job. I’m guessing they’ll squeeze in the 3rd job classes after Trans, because there’s no way they can put that between the 2nd and trans.
I know most people will generally like what they see, because I know a lot of people are already liking how Add’s and Aisha’s 3rd job teasers are looking so far. I think the major differences is that they will look older and have significantly different costumes and skills, but think about the job quests and additional lore that can come out of this. The 3rd JC is gunna be like the “final product” of the job path. Kind of like how we see the 1st job classes as incomplete, compared to the 2nd job classes (I CALL LK HAVING A SHIELD AND RAVEN GOING FULL CYBORG! LOL). All in all, this may keep Elsword going for a good 3-5+ years and I think we can all agree on that. I also hope the the events for the 3rd job classes gives out a lot of good rewards! Ammys and sage stones especially!
The only concern I have is how they plan on doing the 3rd job quests and skills. At what level will we have it on? And what village? We get our 1st Job Class by lvl 15, then our 2nd at lvl 35, and then Trans at 70. I am predicting that it will fall on level 85 OR 90. Why? Because of the level difference of 20, between the 1st to 2nd JC. We obviously have to exclude the 2nd JC to Trans, because it’s double the difference in levels. I also think that the town will have to be Elysion and/or Elrionode, because we start the Trans quests at Lanox and end at Elysion.
Then we have the new skills! You really gotta wonder how much new skills we’ll get at this point Tbh, I think we should expect to get 7-8 new skills based on the 1st and 2nd job classes and Trans as well. However, we could only end up having like 4 with a passive (since we already have a crap load of skills). The skill tree is gunna be really long, lol. With an even more diverse arsenal of skills…we could even expect another increase for the skill slots at this point, lol! And are they going to have a “2nd HA”? It would only make sense since the 2nd job kinda has one, so does Trans with it’s “ultimate move”, and the trans skill slot (they can’t really just make that for just ONE skill…that’d be ridiculous lol)
And let’s not even get STARTED on the nerfs and buffs that KOG would now add onto the game. Just imagine how these new JCs will effect PvE and PvP. I just know for a fact that it’s going to be hell, since they’re always a grace period for new characters before they are raped by nerfs. So we should all brace ourselves for the overdose of NaCl in the next 2 weeks. These are just my $0.02 and my predictions. Let’s see what KOG can bring to the table. If the reception of the 3rd JCs sucks ass, then let’s all give a toast for the end of Elsword, lol! “Here’s a toast…to that one KR MMORPG that gave us a run for our money, when it came to having fun….LITERALLY”, lol. Let’s keep our fingers crossed, guys.

DON’T HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS.
People are kinda having way too high expectations from this, and while I can’t deny I’m excited too to see what is coming next with 3rd jobs, everyone is over there making their theories about what will be the new thing.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying “don’t even imagine a thing”, but the hype sometimes may get things out of hand fast and then people gets disappointed cause they had already an idea about it.
Just let it arrive, its going to happen anyways and soon.
You are giving KOG WAAAAAAY too much credit.
3rd Jobs are going to be full of altered versions of already existing skills. Elesis, Add, Lu&Ciel, and Ain are mostly recycled skills with only a select few being completely original. (BH had that one skill that splits into six fireballs and Add had that Pylon skill.) Asura was practically copypaste + recolor the class. (lolYellow Mana Steal but now it does damage.)
We might get some pretty artwork and MAYBE some new models for transformation skills, and if KOG isn’t THAT lazy and willing to follow through character backstories to their logical conclusions, Adult Lu. (I mean, she already has a model in the game for them to work with. They can just work from there and give her new animations, facial expressions, jiggle physics…..) But don’t expect much in terms of, y’know. Quality. Or balance. And since this is KOG we’re talking about here, the initial release is bound to be filled with tons of bugs.
Well they did say this has been in the works for over a year now so i think that was enough time for them to come up with new skills,designs,animations,models if they decided to make ones,etc. judging from color scheme on the jobs so far they haven’t changed that much for their jobs which i am happy about. Regarding the new skills, they also said that they would have their own 3rd job system which probably means those skills will be put in there.
Asura released 1.5 years after Ara herself and it was half-assed as fuck. Copypasted combos and skills left and right. (Yellow Mana Steal, oh but it deals damage now.)
So I wouldn’t take length of time to mean effort when KOG is involved.
And you conveniently leave out the other 2 characters, and 6 other completely job lines between Ara’s first release and Asura.
Asura was on the back burner till they started development on the Ara-Add Transforms. Getting Ara’s 3rd was not a priority for them during that 1.5 year gap. Asura, Crimson Avenger, and Diabolic Esper probably had no more than as collective 3 month of development at max.
Damn right I left them out, because the assholes should have completed Ara before dropping more characters on us.
