It’s obvious that this game will have the mandatory Elesis release to stay relevant, because KoG needs Elesis more than anything to make their games succeed.

Haha, that statement about the game not being pay2win was about Void Els, as Void and KR are the only ones that mitigate that factor a bit (Void, being private, has the benefits of an official and less requirements for whaling, and KR having a lot of promotions and events).
There’s no way an official server outside Korea would NOT be pay2win, and the ranking rise is only temporary due to the hype on events — their goal is to lure players into thinking wallets are not needed when, in fact, the only thing that’s more pay2win than Elsword in this timeline is Plants Vs. Zombies 2.
