Welcome to the club m8. This is what Grand Chase players had to deal with.
What do you mean about Grand Chase? They did something like that in GC? Talk about story and gameplay integration
each GC characters had unique dungeons to go through until a certain lv.
Considering EXP ERP exists and getting to level 70 takes less than 2 hours for most veteran players? And there’s going to be 2x EXP in addition… What game are you guys even playing?
and for players (if there are any) that don’t have ERP? (also, it took me longer than 2 hours to get lv70 with ERP and a 100% medal from an event… more like 3 but that’s not the point)
those story quests aren’t gonna give that much EXP… you’re gonna have to farm the dungeons. but if they’re doing it like the SD stages, then it would be more manageable as enemies would scale somewhat to levels.
They don’t scale, but they do have large level ranges.
A single quest of Laby has more than 10x the time the EXP that is given to others from the same level range quests
I think a single quest of her shoot her up like 5 lvl or something…I’m not gonna lie, she doesn’t have problem lvling up, heck her JC quests are ridiculously easy too.
So did we all brain dump the fact that we’ve been complaining about new characters starting off in Ruben.

So she won’t have access to normal dungeons until level 70… then she does normal story from Lanox? Does this mean she won’t have Ruben~Sander’s story quests? I have to say, this is… interesting, to say the least. But I’m guessing all the gear in her pre-level 70 dungeons will either be generic gear from Ruben~Sander or Laby-exclusive equipment.
It’s also possible that her quests take her all the way to cap and then post-Varnimyr (perhaps as the El Search Party returns to Elrianode) is where the normal story begins.
The level 70 thing is much more likely to be a direct effect of having Hyper and Transcendence quests shared and requiring Secret Dungeons – which unlock around the same level so it was either allowing her to do older regions at that point, or preventing her from getting Transcendent until cap.
That being said they do still have to modify the other skill book quests specifically for her though.
and mod who gives them unless cobo can somehow reach where laby is….
then again, they seem to be better at traveling than the search party, like ariel has a portal gun or something…
Laby already has new Cobo NPCs, so I think we already know who’ll give her the quests.
If they have to modify the skill quests for her, why can’t they modify the Transcendence quests for her?

she’s got some sort of memorization mechanic to her skills (which she can recast some multiple times….) and on top of this, her 3rd job transforms in her hyper just like metamorphy does….
then again, she’s got a bit of ain’s movement, eve’s color theme, looks like a loli as much (if not more) than lu, punches more than LP and RF, memorizes like aisha, and is a better martial artist than ara….
either she’s hard copying a lot from other classes or she’s here to replace them all

-air dashes multiple times (eve and one of rose’s routes)
-orb system as a bonus feature (ara)
-a weapon that summons stuff from nowhere (add and ain)
-is a loli (lu half of luciel)
-can look like the opposite gender (chung)
so yeah, she’s pretty much the search party in one character.
Inb4 we’re going to form an El Search Party Search Party with Laby and co…But well, I’m liking her already and will probably main her 1st path until any of the other 2 knock it down in artistic taste (like how Bluhen killed my Richter)

I remember when people jumped on the bandwagon of Crimson Rose and said that she was going to replace Deadly Chaser.
Well – after watching some streams it turned out Laby don’t use punches and martial staff as often as you expect from “fighter class”. She doing a lots of “pink sparkly magic” that reminds DW a bit. At first I thought they were mirror’s skills judging by trailer – but looks like vines and dark bubbles would be more mirror’s power based skills – so I even got back my hopes for second path – expecting some sort of “plants master”. (still a bit sad her boobs not growing)
New levels was really nice addition to new character. Backgrounds and mobs, bosses looks fun and well made.
Even if you don’t like Laby’s design and don’t wanna play her, compare to terrible and lazy 3rd jobs update looks like this winter we got something decent and not lazy at least imo (but I’ll judge fully only after watching 2nd and 3rd paths).
Yeah guys. Naddic also just released a loli and she’s the most hated character in Closers due to her announcment video having almost as many dislikes as likes. At least KOG tries to keep the gender balance Closers just pulled another one dude all girl team. Point is Lolis don’t save a dying game.

but honestly, this 1st route is already looking too powerful so many abusable commands and skills…. i smell the “week-after” patch to nerf her already (if she isn’t loved enough to trigger KOG’s bias on balancing)
all her skills do from 15k to 35k and one even do 46k (just like her first hyper)
i’m here expecting either they nerf her to the underground or all the other chars get giantic skill damage buffs cause this is ridiculous
Who are the NPCs in Laby’s story?
NPC in forest town are friendly spirits within her Imaginary Space (featuring a sleepy bird, a quiet frog and a energetic monkeys) plus all of the owl owned respectively by their Cobo counter part Ariel, Luriel, Camilla, Myu and Adam.
Story NPCs as far as I know, Bailong(?) Gaia as the wandering teacher, Velder Sailor, Mao of the destroyed Xin Capital and her grandfather plus some characters that I don’t really care about or haven’t take a look at atm.
Oh. So it’s probably gonna take a while until we get to see what they look like… except Gaia. We finally know what he looks like
