Secret/Heroic/Elrianode Dungeon Revamp

[Secret Dungeon]

1) New secret dungeon gears are obtainable in secret dungeons

2) Secret dungeon gears have more useful effects

3) New Secret dungeon armors have same set effect across all regions. Set effects:

3) Rewards for secret dungeon quests are changed

6) Upgrade feature that each town’s blacksmiths have will be removed.

6) Secret dungeon content guide book details changed

7) Parts of Hamel/Sander Secret dungeons changed to make gameplay easier

8) Secret Dungeon magic stones are now craftable at Glaive

 

[Heroic Dungeon]

1) Changed so gears aren’t dropped in Heroic dungeons. Can craft dual magic stones using new materials

5) Heroic Dungeons consume stamina

6) CP requirement for Heroic Dungeon changed. Stats of monsters increased.

[Elrianode]

  1. Story quest that gives out Elrianode gears will also give out El Tears.

2) Chance to obtain unique El Tears through trade is increased.

1) EXP requirement for level 91~99 adjusted

 

Content Fixes/Changes

1) Items, titles, resonance perosnal/party buff effect, adaptation, certain effects that didn’t count towards CP,DP are now counted.

2) To match the overall CP increase from this change, CP requirements for Varnimyr and Rigomor dungeons are changed as following.

Also, all dungeon entry requirements changed so they cannot be entered if lackign more than 5% of required CP

3) Following effects are removed from Mystic Stones. Chances to obtain other effects adjusted accordingly

– Element Resistance

– KD damage increase

– Damage increase against -30% HP targets

– Movement Speed, Jump Speed

– Attacking MP increase, Attacked MP increase

    This still doesn’t change that Secret Dungeon gear has crappy/trashy base stats relative to what you actually need for Heroics and above (even if set effects are actually “good” now). But, I’ll take the more difficult versions since that was originally part of the challenge. Elrianode tear system still needs more work, and they need to change the achievement system to match more realistic requirements still, especially for heroic dungeons unironically.

    Some people will complain that sets lost their versatility but the raw stat mattered since you lost too much when comparing it to even the most basic of Heroic gear. If we don’t need SD weapon for gimmicky 5/6 piece effects and can just advance to Heroic weapons more quickly, it will be very good for beginners in this game for once.

      I wouldn’t be so sure about the “This still doesn’t change that Secret Dungeon gear has crappy/trashy base stats relative to what you actually need for Heroics and above” part, since secret dungeons are getting revamped, its possible they might make the base stats better.

      That said, I won’t expect them to as to not be disappointed when they don’t do that lol

    Now i am “kinda” interested in those dual magic stone from hero dungeons, specifically the crit/maximize one. Even if that stone only gives 3% per stat, heck even 2.5 and you can get them both at that value, that means that technically those stones have the same or near same net worth of sage stones, and just give you the stats that you want. Tho i doubt KoG will be so generous as to give us “Farmable sages”. (And for those of you going: “but KoG be handing out sages, true but i have the worst luck even having used 108 sages for 3 6% crit sockeys, so yeah. Let these stones be good please

    Movement and Jump Speed is important, what are they doing only focusing on damage and just damage? It’s boring not zipping around at the speed of sound. Glad to see them making the game fast again. I love me some more speed.

    KOG caring about the huge (pay)wall that shows up in front of every new player that reaches “high” level and that drives them out of the game 6 out of 10 times?!!

    Please make it so Heroics involve every dungeon in the game, and not just endgame dungeons :< it was a lot of fun playing Elder – Feita dungeons in Heroic (to me at least) I really miss those days

    I’m not seeing the point of giving us greater CP if they’re just going to Raise CP Requirements with it.

    And then making it so that even just being past the gate isn’t enough. Just say “210k” instead of “5% above 200k”.

    Big change right here, it was already easy to get on a good CP but now those changes will make it a lot more easy for new player so the cannot complain

    wish they simplified the process of making el tears and that they wouldn’t require seals, that is what makes the big grond/pay discrepancy and makes people run away

      The only ones that don’t come sealed are crafted ones which are a bottomless pit of RNG to begin with. The real “grand pay” is enhancing and that’s because blacksmithing is unreasonable if you can’t treasure hunt simultaneously.

      The paywall isn’t the problem. The problem is the fucking RNG factor, making impossible to create a el tear with ur farming time. If u don’t buy a el tear from another player u can’t build a good equipment .

        Still better than the heroic set where you needed an entirely new armor piece.

        At least elrianode lets you still gain set effects, even with useless IDs… Heroic had the problem of being stuck with a lackluster set effect or IDs you wanna keep but the armor had shit stats due to a low lv ID

            that’s assuming the piece is worth using on another character….

            phys atk increases on a mag atk character, or something like carpet bombing damage increase on an ara is obviously a waste

    I am confused here about the heroic stones.
    Do they give you both effects or just 1 of the effects?
    Like example the Critical/Maximize stone would it give you 1 or both effects?
    I am confused here because I am not sure if they are going be better then the secret dungeon magic stones or better?

    I read this and immediately went and added every SD gear to my magic wardrobe. I missed out on the classic dungeon gears, but not this time.

          but if you ask me, picking a fight for the sake of picking a fight is also dumb as hell. like someone’s gonna be nice just cause you told them off… let’s be real here…

          not trying to sound like a defender or white knight, but if you ask me, brancliff does screw up but so does ones harping on him too, if not more at times
