    It looks good on paper, but we’ll see how it integrates the game ? I’m digging the 3rd job animated portraits though, I hope it also comes in the update.

    eh, same cycle as before…. with so many going “NEW CONTENT!!!!” which is the equivalent of “ooh shiny!”

    meanwhile I’m wondering what sort of balance this new stuff is gonna break… especially the dungeons since they’ll likely need more CP than rigomor…

      so I don’t think you will need more cp than the rigomor dungeons because these new dungeons apparently are for the master class they should be like Elrian Sanctum and their drops should be something for you to use in Artifact System in those weird deer

      You know they’re desperate to get players back when they first announce Ara and Laby with the new thing,might as well have Eve next,then Aisha etc. etc.

        I don’t think they’re doing it out of desperation. I think they just assigned each character a master using logic and spun a wheel to decide which master came out first.

          Seriously,Gaia was the last one to be introduced in the game,why not start with Elsword/Rena/Aisha instead?is the playerbase even that active nowadays?

            They’re releasing them on a Master basis, not a character basis. And what does the order of introduction have to do with anything? So you’re saying Add and Eve should have gotten theirs first because Adrian was the first of the seven to actually be seen in the game? Yeah, I’m sorry, but no, I don’t think doing it in order of introduction is any better of an idea than what they’re actually doing. Probably about the same, if not a bit worse.

      According to Nexon’s site, the artifacts are these weird animals and they are tied to the Master Classes.

      Which means that people who don’t play Ara or Laby won’t get them until two weeks after. Or two weeks after that. Or two weeks after THAT.

      I know that they need to stretch things out but 7 patches? Sounds rough.

        Actually, I think you might be able to get them as soon as the first set of Master Classes comes out, you probably just can’t use them right away, with the exception of any class-specific ones. I believe it was the same for Force Skills.

    we still have mod skills that don’t even do anything.

    is adding more skills a good thing atm? some passives for some classes still don’t even work or need reworked. some commands don’t even…. i feel like they are still just pushing out content and not really fixing anything but i suppose we’ll see what happens again.

      It is, the next region will be the Northern Empire, which is where Ara comes from. While it might not be Fahrmann exactly, it is still the same region as Ara’s hometown and Drabaki-related content.

    Elsword: Solace
    Aisha and Chung: Denif
    Rena and Rose: Ventus
    Raven, Eve and Add: Adrian
    Ara and Laby: Gaia
    Elesis and LuCiel: Rosso
    Ain: El Lady

      Theoretically, Raven could also train under Solace, but Adrian does make sense ’cause of his Nasod arm. As for Rose, hers is up in the air, ’cause while she does have similarities to Rena gameplay-wise, she isn’t an elf and doesn’t have Rena’s affinity for nature. Plus, I could see her master depending on her path, with Prime Operator having Adrian ’cause Nasods.

        Rose might be just Denif I suppose, cause of story mode and he was the first ally she made.

          Okay, turns out we actually have a confirmation on who gets who. Elboy and Raven will have Solace as their master ’cause sword, Aisha and Chung have Denif as their master ’cause water and knowledge, Rena and Rose have Ventus as their master ’cause elf traits (even though Rose isn’t an elf) and long-range combat, Eve and Add have Adrian as their master ’cause Nasod stuff, Ara and Laby have Gaia as their master ’cause Ara uses Earth in most of her skills and Laby was already Gaia’s student, Elesis and LuCiel have Rosso as their master ’cause fire and demonic powers, and Ain has Hernia is his master ’cause Ishmael.

      Solace is Raven’s master though, not Adrian.

    8th job in 2030?
    The raid is already a joke with 3rd job, i don’t think this game needs another job change; it just needs a good and “serious” balance first, because the Reboot was not, and always the same characters continue to remain broken by years with new skills at every new job.
    Actually on Elsword the contents are always the same story: New good dungeons → New job → Dungeons become a joke → New good dungeons → …

    They better be increasing the cap on how many normal skills you can put on the skillbars from 10 to 15 for this. Sick of seeing 5 empty slots go unused because of an arbitrary limit of 10 normal skills and 5 force skills.

      Meh, I think the limit is fine. You really should be using [Ability] skills anyway, they’re very useful and have no MP cost.

      Though tbh, I tend to forget to switch my slots anyway. I’m just so used to not having them that I forget they’re there.

        The limit’s fine on some characters, but on others when I have so many good skills I could use and having to drop some simply because of not enough space… It’s too constricting.

        As for [Ability] skills, AT MOST I’d be using 2 (Obten and Fog). I just wanna be able to slap on a couple more skills that I can use situationally instead of being forced to forgo them entirely (or lose one of my better skills in the process).

          Eh. You should probably fill up your last 3 [Ability] slots with something anyway, even if it’s with skills you’re gonna replace with new [Ability] skills anyway. I only have 4 [Ability] skills I intend to keep atm, but I’m probably gonna fill my 5th slot with something I don’t mind using until they release a new [Ability] that I actually want to use.

            I personally run dungeons with a setup of the following, though I intend on making a few changes:
            -Hyper Acceleration
            -Soul Harvest (I’ll replace this with Elrian Clock for boss-only dungeons like Raids and Grotto.)
            -Thunderstorm (I plan to replace with Fog of Death when I get the skill)
            -Drain
            -Obtenebration

            [Ability] Skills are hella useful, so I always recommend filling the extra slots out with those, however I don’t disagree with the notion of being able to equip 15 skills, I think it would be nice to have an additional 5 slots for normal skills in the 3rd Job B-slots, totaling 20 skills, 5 [Ability] and 15 [Special Active/Active] types.

    So, the Demon realm Trancedence then 4th job. I’d rather a rework of the gear and level system so Elsword is more like an ACTUAL RPG, rather than a gear based MMO. Because without gear, our characters really aren’t that strong. Gear should boost stats, not be the stats.

      Though I will say if one of LuCiel’s skills would allow for aura claws or gunblades(depending on the character.) I’d be happy. I kind of like the idea of aura weapons like Sword of Victory and Armageddon blade for other characters besides just Elesis and Elsword.

        Something tells me LuCiel’s Master Class skills will use both Lu and Ciel, like Combination Skills.

        Lu/Ciel really doesn’t need aura claws/gunblades though.. Catastrophe already has her jojo stand and his knives, IN has their tracking spears, DG has their transformations..

        Now the character that *does* need aura weapons is Raven, or at least Furious Blade. He has a sword aura but it only lasts for a 3 seconds at most, its most prominently seen on Berserker Blade.

          Eh… Furious Blade is all about getting close and comboing the heck out of your enemies anyway, so I see no reason to give him a sword aura buff that extends his range, ’cause he already has the tools to do what he does. It’s not even that much more range than his normal sword, anyway. Besides, give him extra range on top of Bloody Accel’s health steal, and you got one broken character (I think that’s the same reason Bloody Queen doesn’t have a range extension buff as well)

          No….. Just no. That monster does not need Aura blade. Furious Blade is already Overpowered as is. He doesn’t need a range extension.

          I don’t mean a range extension aura, I meant something like Bloody Queen’s mini aura, or NI’s intangible aura lol.

          BQ’s and NI’s sword auras both apply buffs and are mostly visual as the weapon range does not extend at all. I just want to have that kickass looking sword aura that he uses when using berserker blade on, even if it doesn’t extend the range!

    Oh nice, maybe now It’ll be atleast bearable to look at my char’s 3rd Job portrait
    (Just a opinion, btw, I feel almost all of the 3rd Job portraits/designs are inferior to 2nd Job or even 1st Job)

    Also the Rule34 MVP and the megawhale shark first huh, subtle way to try rope in people.

    Well, if there’s anything to be happy about, is that Solace and Hernia-chan are back, tho sad the Pristesses are left to rot at Elrianode.

    I’d honestly like to get remotely hyped but the most I expect is MAYBE a new Bravery skill or another HA that will be rendered absolutely worthless after 2 or 3 patches.
