      They did though? CEs, NL, TB, BlM, HR, they all absolutely needed changes. Can’t say I was expecting CEs and NL to become supports, but eh I’ll take it lol.

      And likewise, chung’s kit was far too overloaded with damage reduction, it’s not odd they’d take it down a peg.

      It’s a good patch, it’s just…missing some notably poor characters like AeS, Raven (I’m not counting the pathetically tiny attack buff they got haha), Elesis and Luciel.

      I’ll be riding your comment because it’s toward the top and this is sort of a response. :thinking:

      tl;dr This patch is 50/50, not counting it in terms of number of changes so much as the actual impact and reasoning. This is one of those “a patch you can’t complain about” patches.
      Which creates the catch-22 of complaining about “not enough positive changes,” which leads to less positive changes as a result, and high defensiveness from people sipping water in the desert for ANY buffs. They need to do better than this for the long-term and be more timely for otherwise long-standing issues.

      1. Super armor push removal hurts normal dungeons but is superior for situations where the target must remain stationary for the team, aka Rosso. The fact that there was no counterbalance like “where your team is standing” as a helping hand condition for the player to side switch more easily or otherwise let the team prevent it is a very obvious lack of creativity for balancing. Nonetheless, positive more than negative.

      2. Buffs are all over the place. Really should’ve adjusted raid prior to doing any of them. “But UNub iTs BeTTeR tHaN NoTHinG!” Context matters or they’ll miss the mark often. Especially considering core issues matter just as much as core strengths.

      3. Defense nerfs are practically the only things that make sense in context of raid exclusively. Too much defensive cheese at the moment from double Chung+ single BL combo specifically. SoT nerf means nothing since players in the pseudo-silence phase will just wait it out–directly nerfs bad players in the dungeon before Berthe himself.

      Now for context on the buffs, Esencia DID NOT need the changes. She is already a very strong character in terms of gear efficiency and really only suffered from her summons getting absolutely murderized by gimmicks. This cannot be solved if she’s pseudo-silenced from gimmicks because she CANNOT RESUMMON. In other words, the change is a meme that overtunes her in an area but doesn’t fix the issue. At the very least, Ferdinand’s buff helps the dps check for Berthe when using hypers to pass the pseudo-silence barrier in a very direct way.
      Same criticisms for Nisha, although KOG is deadset on making her copy Chung’s defense and also be an inferior CE which incentivizes CU + CC in the team ever still. This is a bad direction since they refuse to adjust the recast timer in PvE for summons to get stacked and blown to bits, lack of sustainable buffs, and generally very slow cast times. Wonderful attempt at doing any of those, right? The PvP context makes more sense for her with the summon changes, but I don’t care for PvP these days.

      Rose + Raven changes could’ve happened without the raid. They didn’t undo any wrongly done PvE nerfs on those characters regardless so this is more handing someone a towel after you splashed them in the face. Herrscher’s changes should’ve also happened a while back but are massive boosts to normal play and unironically do not affect his raid gameplay when considering his rotations and somewhat annoying post-cast delay. So those have missed the mark for endgame but have reached closer to where it should be for normal play.

        CEs’s summons don’t get “murderized” – they’re invincible in PvE remember?
        The reason she’s terrible for rosso is invincible unfortunately doesn’t also mean debuff immune, so she ends up healing him instead, and I believe they also fell into pits and got insta-killed by the pit, which also bypasses immunity. This doesn’t at all fix that of course, but just for context.

        As for Berthe p1/2, if berthe doesn’t howl while they’re already out, the solution is simple: just never use Recall to keep em around for as long as possible, and make sure to carry the individual summons as well instead of just riseon so you’ve got more opportunities to keep em up based on the current skill lock. Strength-only lock luckily is never a thing on p2, so no issues there. p3 also has nothing I can see that kills them outright or hinders them too badly.

          Well here’s the bingo piece that really doesn’t settle well for the situation: she’s not bad at Rosso and it was never part of the equation. That’s never been relevant to a patch outside of entire class rebalances.

          She has damage reduction with Oberon Guard mod, Tesla for consistent damage, and Space Wrench recently got buffed for a huge damage skill that scales with mob size. The reality is that nobody has the slot power to be running 3 whole summons, and if you die for any reason whatsoever during a tenacity lockout, YOU HAVE NO DAMAGE. In fact, you add nothing to the team that Code Ultimate doesn’t do better. And anyone who actually plays the character doesn’t use Recall in PvE, you lose far too much damage compared to Tesla+MEB considering these sustain your mana pool the longer they stay out.

          Again, strong character. In theory that is. If you have to deal with a purely aerial target or must commit to frequent platforming, the character immediately begins to deal sub-average numbers. When Berthe is preparing a howl in phase 1, it is sudden. But this class is incentivized to spam cast via Cerulean and/or reset passive, meaning you can wipe your team unintentionally. Add insult to injury with a weaker Hyper than most characters that receives no help from passives (unlike raw atk passives) and a really average Master skill…yeah. Murderized.

          There’s no way to address this character being this below average unless the raid itself changes. That goes for most every character listed, since their position is not likely to change otherwise. And if the raid changed, then were the buffs REALLY necessary? Reactive patches should never be combined without a full understanding of the problems even if there isn’t a direct solution.

            I totally agree with Unub same thing goes for LuCiels, now days if you don’t have buffs or debuffs they discriminate you in Raid, plus LuCiels DPS isn’t as good either to recompense that they don’t have good buff to party and their rotation/mechanic makes it difficult in this raid since they get their Combination Points for their braverys through Strengths and Tenacity skills, no to mention LuCiel is a really slow character when it come to cast skill speed

      As HR main myself, I’m quite surprised for this shorter rotation of Ruler of the Abyss. (but PVP nerf was hurt…)
      I was expected more on Befreiung Feld adjustment and ‘trash’ skills fix (Brechen, many tena and actives, henir release effect), but these changes are good to go either. (even tho i’m worried that it’s gonna make him broken instead when KOG finally fixed things i mentioned above)

      His problem to deal damage in Berthe raid still there; unable to carry 5 stacks of befreiung feld for long and noob dmg with tenas/actives/commands; so even with these changes he will still have a hard time there.

      Hope there will be more good change again so he can finally being a good dps char there just like Rosso era.

        a lot of classes do the same damage or more when HR has all his buffs up, so if KoG fixed all of his problems he probably still wouldn’t outclass everyone. most people just want to get rid of the 5 stack buff because it’s nearly impossible to keep up and you NEED all his buffs to do average or above average damage. if they fixed his kit, he still out only do good damage when RoA damage increase happens, which that delay in skill + long skill animations means he’s still losing out on damage.

        his MP management also hinders him, along with the micromanaging of buffs and lack of henir release skills to help his passive. he’s never going to be BROKEN unless kog goes through every last skill and passive.

        also one of his henir release skill’s effect has not worked since Apostasia was released.

        most classes deal upfront damage, even Richter once he builds up enough stacks can keep those stacks u0 even though it’s annoying. Herrscher damage fluctuates constantly which is one of his , many, problems. And his damage at his peak still isn’t anything to brag about.

        When i did a damage test, Totentanz does more dmg with def ignore than Entfernen.
        Abgrund still cost 220mp still for the lack of damage and range it has.
        Reflexion real damage only has a small chance of happening, and it’s still bad and cost too much MP.
        and he still resorts to a base skill for his maximum damage.
        kog nerfed him way too much and he needs a whole rework, but kog doesn’t love him.

        i will say the Weschel buff is nice since before you’d be terrified of wasting the buff but you might be able to get the seeds back in 20 seconds, and the RoA buff makes it so you have do real damage slightly more

      Not if only her other skills had decent damage and more importantly not enough end lag that she gets clipped by every attack after each of them. Aero Straffe, Aero Tornado and Crazy Shot all mean you’re getting that Ember debuff from Rosso and there isn’t anything you can do about it.
      It’s like they put the iframes of her 9 other skills into ace.
      Also give her some speed!

      last time i play duo with twilight, daybreaker lost kill score against twilight with lower equipment level.
      even in raid score is far lower than laby and twilight or maybe more.
      the community is kinda funny, just because showing high % they not see other aspect.
      just make daybreaker long range class if dps is a big no, don’t take both.

      Everybody wants him in parties because of his amazing support abilities. He’s not a DPS and he will never be. His damage is already alright-ish, but either way ppl want him to buff constantly, his damage doesn’t matter as much as a DPS-heavy class. This is a sad nerf but it didn’t kill him lmao

        Does multiple instances of damage reduction stack tho? Like using Radiant Soul’s Reflexion, CC’s Wonder Wall and CeT’s Tactical Field. Cause if they do stack I’d say the nerf is warranted.

          yes, they do stack
          but the stacks are multiplicatively
          so if you take a hit that inflicts 100 damage
          and you have Wonder wall (50% damage reduction) you tone down the damage from 100 > 50 (50 damage was reduced)

          but if you also had another effect overlapping, say, Atomic Shield (40% damage reduction) – then Atomic shield will reduce 40% of the remaining 50 damage, bringing it down from 50 > 30 (only 20 damage was reduced)

          so the efficiency of the dmg red effect will lower the more you stack em

          and to add up to the upper reply, yes, the heavy stance nerf was unnecessary, considering they already nerfed it during reboot from 70% to 40%, I mean I wouldn’t mind if it was at least down to 30% but it got shafted to 20% so it’s like.. minimal effect at this point

    HR buffs!!!! his clunky weschel/seed of chaos interaction is finally manageable with bonus ruler of the abyss buff. that 3 to 2 skills is actually a huge buff considering HR spam like there is no tommorow. Where was this 1 year ago during reboot.

    hm… isn’t it a bit overbuff for NL? i bet they gonna nerf her again soon after this patch…

    the thing is, they could just buff her damage, so she would stay pure damage char like BQ and etc.

    but instead of this they:
    1. made her even more tanky(KOG, chill out, she need a damage, not tankyness, she’s allready nearly impossible to kill outside of raids)
    2. gave her skill damage buff in Illusion and that’s a good thing here.
    3. gave her hella bunch of party buffs idk why. seriously, just look at this! yes, ofc. she can’t summon more than one at once, but her summons give everything in one char – phys damage buff, boss danage reduction, boss damage buff
    4. and they gave her a party heal for whatever reason. now Bibi gives 6 sec 5% HP per sec effect, WHILE HIS OWN COOLDOWN IS 8 SEC. its literaly a heal for 75% of dungeon time, for the whole party, WTF?

    don’t get me wrong, im NL main myself and i like to see her buff, because she realy needs it. but this is NOT the buff she need, the buff she needs is damage buff. with this buff she become too usefull, which means a) she not gonna get damage buff any time soon, while also being unable to compete with real supports. b) she’s gonna get nerfed soon enough and prob become even weaker than she was before this buff, because they gave her kinda too much of things.

      no her heal is 30% it’s every sec she heals up to 6 sec but KOG changed it to 8% per sec up to 3sec now so 24% heal lmao and her summons i think now can be stackable

        tbh, this buff is wrong even lorewise. if you read about the class backgrong either from the ingame class change quests or on the Wiki, you see that the only person Nisha cares about is Laby. so, party buffs, seriously? she doesn’t care about them ffs. this is the same as if they give HR or BQ a party healing…

          I think they should have gave Nisha’s summons a debuff enemies on activation instead of buff allies on summon. I think that would have made sense lorewise while also giving her some use in raids at non absurdly high CP.

    Herrscher: Dead class, no dmg, slow skills, ridiculous passive for mp recovery, seeds of chaos passive that needs tons of mp.
    Kog can double the time of Wechsel buff and putting one skill less to stack Ruler of Abyss, but that’s not the real problem of this class: He literally doesn’t have dmg…5 stack of Befreiung Feld buff +50% magical atk (quite impossible to stack in raid), Ruler of Abyss +50% skill dmg, Wechsel 3rd stage +30% magical atk and +10% crit dmg..all this for what? 500kk using Entfernen with +11 FoJ, really? My Catastrophe deal the same dmg with +11 void (without counting ignore defense of Apollyon) this is a ridiculous buff compared to what he really needs.

    But let’s talk about Prime Operator which has not received any changes:
    Probably the slowest character of the whole game and probably the one with the most bugs.
    Armored tempest is a joke: It spawns where it wants (when it spawns), during its animation you and your allies can’t cross it → 5 seconds of animation and others 5 where it deals dmg, so 12.000% in 10 seconds.
    Sparrow Factory: you need to stay near it and mobs for 4 secs otherwise the sparrows will not spawn (Is this skill shy?). The skill duration is 15 seconds where it deals 7.000% (11.000% with passive) ON A SINGLE TARGET. 15 SECONDS FOR 11.000% WTF.
    Mecha drop that explodes ALWAYS on higher platforms without doing damages to the mobs below, and guess what? In last phase of Berthe raid there’are only platforms :)
    Magnetic Generator would be good against big mobs if it hit in the right way: Against 12-6 boss it doesn’t hit with 3 cores below because the boss levitates; against 13-4 boss it’s the same thing but because the cores is under the ground (yes, wtf?)..and against small mobs it’s literally trash, and guess what? Rosso is small and Berthe in last phase same.
    Summons that don’t charge your awakening mode when you’re in a party (and no one knows why).
    I’m not asking for a character with the same dmg of a NI, but at least a character that can deals damage in an acceptable time and without a bug on every single skill..I’m just asking for a bit on normality, because really, this char is a joke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmPLmpYqrfo

      I totally unsderstand You with the Prime Operator. I was Tempest burster ando Switch yo PO because everyone told me that she was better and has more dmg… But it’s NOT. I spread lag to everyone un the party, and spam 35183629 misiles to a single Target and DONT DEAL ANY DMG. And there it comes a Daybraker with a single arrow or a Furious blade with a single “shockwave” and mutilate the boss… This is incredible…. I’m switching back to TB when I can… It is slower, but at least she doesn’t have all that bugs and deals more dmg

          You don’t have to access every content as soon as they get added. This is an MMO, you have to work for more power at all times, even if it takes you months to reach the enough CP for Berthe Raid

          Pretty much anyone can enter Rosso Raid now and it gets easier every time. Have patience and keep playing, you’ll get there one day.

    I will take this Herrscher buff, but they still haven’t fixed the core issue of his class – the low % damage of his special active skills. If they buffed their damage significantly in return for removal of the Befreiung Feld buff, you could make this job path very decent. Also, speed up the gathering of chaos seeds.

    They really need to understand their job paths better to make them properly functional. This won’t happen, since they don’t play their own game and don’t listen to experienced players.

    The ultimate proof that KoG never truly test runs their own dungeons, making the KOR community the beta testers. Once they don’t like that certain skills are spammed, because they seem too good (AiH or TactFi), they get altered -aka nerfed- right away and buff others in order to instigate a phantom game balance, so that nobody can complain and say “but it’s always RS/BLUEHEN that get to shine in raids.”, or whatever the community has to complain about.

    IDK if 2na or whoever will see/fix this, but there’s a mistranslation in this patch. Both seal of time and tactical field are [Enhanced], not [Mod]. Mod TF didn’t get touched iirc, only regular did. TF didnt get nerfed to 5%, it got nerfed to 15%.

    After dividing her passives pvp values by 10 in the last patch it’s so disrespectful but anyway it’s nice for her in PvE.

    CS energetic heart speed buffed randomly again…3 hours time stop for 50mp :] … well, CS always get buffed or nerfed randomly lol.

    PO didn’t have CES and Nisha PvE summons buffs, KoG doesn’t even know that she exists :thinking:

    AeS still a buff bot…

    Otherwise this patch doesn’t seem that bad.

    I like these the most.

    Otherwise, even with Chung’s tankiness nerf, it doesn’t seem too game changing.

      Aes….may aswell get deleted…aside from her being outshined by almost everyone, she doesnt even execute her theme well, she need way more diverse elemental skills/combos instead of her entire kit existing mostly of fire and ice. (no ice in commands except for that useless frostbite ball)

        Like i said many time they clairly hate this poor Character … She was is now the weakest character in this game and by far . our passive skills suck , every monsters and boss have element resist so our freeze burn and stun aliment is meaningless . we have very bad combo no super armor at all , and on top of that we are mage but have to fight in middle/close range . Oh and is Aether sage really an mage that has mastered the elements ? mostly a 3 elements mage …

      CU buff? As a fellow CU main I can say that if she get’s buffed she might as well be meta then, have you seen those high dps CUs? None of them have that much gear. Most people think CU is weak but that’s only because they aren’t good at piloting CU.
