[4/29 Content Update Pre-Notice]
1. Magic Crystal Acquisition improvements
Recently updated core contents requiring more magic crystal consumption have caused magic crystals to impact the prices of craftable items. We prioritized resolving this issue. We would like to update in a way where both old and new players can acquire the magic crystals reliably.
– Magic crystals will drop from all Elrios regions just like star powder, ruve herb, grain powder..etc
– Amount of magic crystals obtained from 1 giant magic crystal is fixed to 100 (Exchange included)
※ Giant magic crystals from before the change can be exchanged with new rates too.
2. Improvements to inconvenient elements in the game such as quests and titles
We would like to ease the areas in the game that are too repetitive or cause situational inconvieniences.

3. Free Petite Phoru changes
Pet fetch aura is somewhat a necessary feature for the game. We thought a timed fetch aura was causing
inconveniences for players that wanted to continue playing the game. Therefore it will be revamped like this.
– Free Petite Phoru given in the story quest will come with a permanent fetch aura.
– Permanent fetch aura will be applied to Petite Phoru from before the revamp as well

guess we’ll have to see how well these upcoming patches go over in KR. the “Elsword union” got a response from the director and were given promises…hopefully theyre smart enough to not just drop it and expect everything to go as planned. if KR drops it and doesnt watch KOG like a hawk, KOG will no doubt eventually lapse and go back to their old ways. they always do. and since they apparently dont listen to any of us, Elsword’s survival relies of KR whipping KOG into shape and borderline rebooting the whole game to make the game fun and fair for all players again

The magic crystals dropping a lot more makes sense as we just recently got a Rigomor armor revamp, i also like that we’re getting a free permanent fetch aura for our Phoru? Making it a little less, useless? Is it just me? Or does anybody else just never buy it a perm fetch-
Now the titles and master class, Master Class having less runs to do is good, less time wasted on spamming that 13-1 or 13-2 over 50 times. Dark Gaze being 10 runs is quite nice to the alts and new players, same for Survival of the Cold. Crests being 50 times means you can just get both of the titles by clearing Hell 50 times, because the first one counts as well.

Wait, I’m dumb, I thought Petite Phoru was just the current Elder pet and that the older one was a different Phoru.
well originally you weren’t given a fully grown phoru from that quest, but a phoru crystal, so you had to evolve him until it reached aldulthood, which was somewhat painful for f2p players, as each evolution required max affinity

Finally I dont have to do event dungeon for a pet and fetch aura in every alt I wanna rosso raid, 10/10 update.
Jeez, I don’t think they understand that players are willing to grind for this stuff, while the QoL of this is sort of nice, that’s not fixing any core issues that players are upset about:
Berthe raid is the biggest one, since that caused the biggest drop in players in the game’s history. It needs a rework or serious tweaking so that not one person can potentially be a liability, and furthermore, remove the cop out of preventing skill use because you don’t want players clearing it too quickly,
Some characters and classes have been too nerfed for reliable clears of content, or that no one will take them in their raid parties cause they suck,
Gatekeeping of endgame content for years, this was somewhat fixed with story mode, which needs to happen with berthe as well,
The enhancement system needs a total rework so people don’t have to throw their rent checks just to play with their friends,
And last but not least, stop balance patching entire classes for one specific dungeon that most people can’t access, because it harshly affects the rest of the content.
Until they fix these issues, the game will continue to die and players will continue to leave.
Well we can’t expect it all to happen in an instant. These things take time, and trying to rush it only makes things worse, either for the game itself or the people working on the game.
It’s not that they take time, it’s that it’ll never happen. Companies don’t willingly make it so that players will willingly spend less, that’s not how it works. They physically can’t alter the enhancement systems and continue to push out mediocre fashion outfits/ibs because that’s their main source of income.
Since KR players threatened to stop spending, the company had no choice but to speak out or they’re sunk. So no, I don’t believe it will take time because the higher ups at KoG aren’t concerned whether or not players have fun. It’s all profit.
If it is threatened by NA or INT Server. Properly all will be ignore. Should be thankful to the KR server players since they only valued the KR players.

one of the benefits of leveling is that u can pace content around the skills a char has at the time … if u want something to be challenging early on u give them less reach or whatever to work with … and if content later on requires a skill that can clear an entire map then well hey … lvl 155 now gives u that clear skill u need lul

I never understood why they claim that this game is so difficult to “balance” or whatever, when they constantly push the same “problems”, brushing away the issues with the enhancement system and whatnot. It’s so obvious, yet they just ignore it, because of the money loss.
If you offer great services and quality, people will pay for costumes and whatnot… PEOPLE WILL PAY FOR STUFF IF YOU GIVE THEM THE INCENTIVE TO DO SO!

All I really want rn is REAL Balance Patches so i can play my MV in peace without getting screamed at for ”not doing anything and leeching off us”. Says the goddamn CeT killing everything in half a sec. WITH A +9. Meanwhile I have so many useless skills and a passive that’s also useless. And all for what? Less then half Chungs/Renas dmg 😑🙄

Nice try but besides the free fetch (Which is only really a problem if you are multialting and maybe MC quest) and the magic crystals, these changes really don’t fix anything, all it does is expedite something that can already be done.
I for one think there needs to be an element rework, none have any use besides maybe debatably water.
(For pitching an idea:
Fire could give a personal dmg buff, Water could inflict a crit dmg taken debuff,
Poison maybe a ‘decrease damage/increased debuff duration’ debuff, Wind could grant an all speeds buff and partial defense bypassing on proc,
Light could give accelerated cooling down and Dark could give a mp/awk gain buff, the works really).
Also a CP fix would be appreciated, I’m not sure what funky feces argorithm is used but I still find it insane that past Elrianode, with the RECOMMENDED AMOUNT OF CP, you do quite literally nothing and die near instantly,
Patience. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Yes, it’s true that the perm fetch aura is the only actual fix in these patch notes, but we can’t expect them to be able to fix everything in such a short amount of time. But we also need to make sure KoG sticks to their word and actually fixes shit instead of just making things more convenient.

very nice qols especially that reduced vos wep grind. those title reduction counts are nice too.
pretty much unexpected coz those are stuff for ppl that already have enough footing in the game to do berthe raid and/or spam alts to again… do more raid runs. Coz i thought these coming qols wud come to help bridge the gap between new and old players. But oh well these wud benefit me so much, so i pretty much dun care if they didn’t do what i thought they wud do.
