Tenebrous armor can be obtained from Tirnog dungeons or crafted at Betty NPC in Magmelia Town using Tenebrous shards. Tenebrous armor is character specific

[Reforge Transfer System]

System to transfer Rigomor armor’s Reforge stage to Tenebrous armor.

Rigomor armor needs to be 18 reforge stage or higher and transfer can only be done with same armor parts.

There are two different Reforge Transfers. Normal Reforge Transfer and Special Reforge Transfer

Special Reforge Transfer

Use Reforge stage transfer ticket, Magic Crystal, ED

Reforge stage transfer ticket is sold in cash shop

 

Once transfered, reforge level decreases by 6 stages.

(Ex. Stage 18 Rigomor armor turns into stage 12 after the reforge Transfer.)

* Reforge stage and reforge gauge of the Rigomor armor used for the transfer is reset

* Enhancement level of Rigomor armor used for the transfer does not reset.

* Reforge gauge of Tenebrous armor after the transfer is reset and the armor becomes unsealable.

▣ Shadow effects, Effect Storage Box

Tenebrous armor does not have a set effect. It comes with a special Shadow Effect.

Shadow Effect can be identified using the initial Shadow Effect Identification Scroll.

Shadow Effect come with 3 lines of effects (◆, ◆◆, ◆◆◆) when identified. Each line has different effects.

* Shadow Effect Identification Scroll can be obtained from Tirnog region dungeons or can be crafted from NPC Betty.

* Shadow Effects cannot be re-identified. Effects can be extracted, stored and applied using the Effect Storage Box.

▣ Effect Storage Box

Through Magmelia Town’s Basily NPC, Shadow Effects can be extracted then stored or applied to Tenebrous armor.

Effect Storage Box has 3 slots each for Top / Bottom / Gloves / Shoes. They can be expanded up to maximum 6 slots

* Extract and Storage has to match the character and armor part.

 

[Effect Extraction/Storage]

Tenebrous armor’s Shadow Effect can be extracted and stored in an Effect Storage Box.

1 Shadow Effect line from the 3 identified Shadow Effect lines is extracted. Additional effect extraction materials can be used to increase the chance of desired effect being extracted.

* Tenebrous armor with +9 or higher enhancement or Reforge stage 12 or higher cannot be chosen for Shaow Effect extraction

* Only the effect is extracted then stored. The effect’s rates are not stored.

* The armor is deleted after the effect is extracted and cannot be restored.

 

[Apply Effects]

Stored Shadow Effects can be applied to Tenebrous Armor

Rates are applied as the effect is applied to the armor. Effect in the storage box is deleted.

Apply can be attempted on the same line as the effect that is stored. Apply button needs to be pressed to finalize the process.

* Existing effect will be deleted and cannot be restored so proceed with caution.

    Ye there is no way im transfering my Rigo reforge to this so it gets downgraded lol, like if getting 18-21 was a joke…
    Im wondering now if this sets is actually better than Rigo or not, its system seems so unpractical.

    This set having heroic extraction to make any trade value is pretty ridiculous, since it means you simply won’t commit. This isn’t tears 2.0 where you just hunt the correct effect. And given how Elrianode was far more casual on the farming area, it’d just be super endgame people accessing this market so….not a very good timing atm.

    Otherwise the idea itself not requiring another set of enhances is fine enough. Just feels like they threw things together without concerning themselves with how the base game plays atm. You have to test best in slot to even imagine the best way a playstyle looks, which due to the sheer number of classes would take potentially weeks or months. So I’m pretty sure we already know where the best effects are in this one outside of meme support cases to make yourself more useful than x other player when you have a hard carry.

    even with the desired effect we cant get the desired value.

    not even recovering materials or improving the armor on the way like rigomor.

    i guess i will be using rigomor until they release another armor or fix this rng festival zone.

    I was hopeful, but there are so many freaking problems with this. First, the fact that the armor is straight-up deleted upon extraction. If it at least gave us some materials, then it’d be fine, but nope, just straight-up deleted. Second, the sheer amount of RNG. Not only do you have to RNG to get the effect in the first place, but you also have to RNG if that effect is even extracted or not, and even after that, you have to RNG the values once you apply the extracted effect. And finally, the Special Extraction. It’s literally just normal extraction, but with an item you buy from the cash shop instead of items dropped from the dungeons. No extra benefits whatsoever, you’re literally just paying to speed up the process. There are other smaller issues, but they’re not ones I feel need to be addressed.

      So according to the wiki, the highest you can boost the chance of getting the effect you want extracted is 50%… FIFTY… PERCENT… WHAT!! I just… I just can’t comprehend this.

    Wait a second that HP shield can be added on each part so Laby Ain Noah new eve etc can have almost a perma 40% hp buff that’s not going to be annoying or anything to deal with right

    friends and comments makes me wonder if i should continue in this game… i enjoy the gameplay but they are increasing the grind a way too much…
    it seems the new armor needs about r15+ to be nearly as powerful as r19 rigo.
    not mention the rng effects make it inferior until they are perfect and r18+.
    i think i will fully upgrade my rigo and skip this armor until they nerf the material req or i get a perfect rng set in.. idk 2 years?

    You know, given what happened literally only a few months ago, this armor set is HILARIOUSLY tone deaf. I can’t see anyone actually seriously spending any time on it given how miserable working on it is guaranteed to be. Combining the fairly limited number of players who’re actually at a point where they can even obtain this, much less farm it consistently, with the sheer degree of randomness, and it just… would not be worth it. Not even if you could transfer Reforges perfectly.

    Good job, KOG. You fucked it yet again. (Also, I agree with Pornflakes, this armor doesn’t look nearly as good as Amethystine Prophecy.)

    Yeah I’ll be keeping my current gear over this tbh.
    Much as I love this game, it’s become too grindy for my taste. Rather play casually at this point :/ then again I already do lol.
    Maybe I’ll consider it if they actually make this gear worth it.

          Though tbh, I personally don’t like Polarize. Like, I get that it’s great for offense, but the defense decrease… well, basically, for someone like me who isn’t super great at dodging or i-framing, it’s too much of a drawback for me to invest in it.

            and yet we need it cp wise, i tried cerulean rigo because i didnt want to suicide when i cant dodge because a fps decrease spike in raids.

            i have r21 ceru set, 350+ reso, +11 weap and i can barely reach 3m cp(i cant get in plegas 3)… if they give one day a color change and futher increase the cp needed for dungeons i will be forced to move to crimson rigo.

            if they never give them and increase the cap, i think i will be locked from the future content just because of the cp i cant increase anymore unless i get a +12.
