Despite the visuals may suggest that the hitbox is located far away from the caster, it is actually located right in front of the place it was cast from and reaches beyond the other edge of the screen.
Due to its range, it can be used as a filler clearing skill.
Unlike the original version, you will not get the invisibility buff right after casting the skill because the hitbox does not overlap with the caster, so it is recommended to use it from a slight distance to ensure that your allies get it when needed.
The buff only provides a visual effect of invisibility like Specter Walk, but it does not prevent you from taking damage.
