While its potential damage is a lot lower than the normal version, this variant is entirely non-situational, dealing its full damage on all enemies. This makes it a bit better than its counterpart against small enemies, though for bosses that you can ensure a lot of hits on, the regular version is naturally a lot better. Switch between the two forms accordingly.
Strangely, moving as soon as you possibly can will affect this skill's skill freeze frames, ending them sooner.
