Monster Image Boss Description Boss Moves
Berthe - The traitorous leader of the White-Ghost Army, empowered by Aegirp's soul, he is much more powerful than he was in the past.
  • Howl: Berthe stands on his two feets and howls, while being invulnerable. Depending on the howl's color, Berthe will respond with an Howl that removes 400 MP and kills anyone in range upon using a specific skill tier:
  • Claw strikes: Berthe aims a party member and does either one or two strikes with his claws.
  • Ice pillars: Berthe smashes the ground with his feet and makes Ice pillar appears from the ground, inflicting Frostbite on hit.
  • Claw combo: Berthe does two Claw strikes, then smashes the ground to make some Ice pillars appear in front of him.
  • Ice beam: Berthe becomes invulnerable, then charges and shot an ice beam in front of him, inflicting Freeze on hit. The beam starts horizontally and then slowly goes up vertically.

Note:

  • Berthe can do Howl multiple times in a row to disable more than one skill tier.
Fierce Berthe - Unleashing the true powers of Aegirp's soul, Berthe has begun to merge with the former King's power and has grown into a giant.
  • Skill orbs: For the whole fight, an UI with tree orbs will be shown on the upper side of the screen. Depending on which orb is on, using a specific skill tier will make the whole party die.
  • Grab: Berthe does a grab with his arm to the center of the map. Right after he'll return the hand to his original position, pushing back everyone hit.
  • Swipe: A yellow mark will be shown on the map, and a second later Berthe will swipe that platform horizontally with his arm, pushing everyone hit.
  • Wing Ray: Berthe charges up one of its two wings and then releases a ray that lasts for some second on the same side of the map. Right after, he'll do this move again with his other wing.
  • Demonic Frequence: Berthe's body will start to send out a yellow frequency on his right side and a blue one on his left. Each frequency inflicts a different debuff that lasts for 3 seconds and stacks up to 10 times. When the tenth stack is reached, the player dies.
    • You can avoid getting the debuff to 10 stacks by continously changing map side.
  • Soul Orbs: Berthe will raise is left hand in the air and will spawn yellow orbs across the map, while also teleporting some players to another map, the Soul Realm. Every orb automatically explodes after some time, dealing huge damage. When all orbs are destroyed, Berthe gets exhausted for some seconds.
    • Orbs don't deal damage if you destroy them.

One Who Destroys - The power of Aegirp's soul conflicting within Berthe goes out of control, creating a being that is neither truly Berthe nor the White-Ghost King.

  • Orb release: The boss releases 9 light orbs and then 9 dark orbs in a circle around his body, they'll stop for a second after being shot and right after they'll accelerate again.
  • Demon lasers: The boss raises his hands and marks the map with lines, both horizontally and vertically. After some seconds, light and dark rays will spawn there, dealing huge damage on contact.
    • Sometimes this move will be casted twice in a row.
  • Spike: A blue spike will spawn on the map, occuping space. Can only be hit by comboes or active skills.
  • Orb call: Two orbs will fall from the sky in two separate locations.

  • Following The Barbaric White-Ghost Castle's loading screen, the characters featured on the loading screen are the next three characters: Rage Hearts, Code: Esencia, and Comet Crusader.
  • The dungeon's name calls back to the Altar of Dedication back in Feita, where Berthe was first fought. Additionally, just like back then, a portal is prominently visible in the background during the fight.
  • Many of Berthe's attacks in the first phase of the dungeon are the same as those used during his original fight, adjusted to fit his current more agile quadrupedal form. These include Pounce, Ice Beam, Ice Carve and his defining skill, Howl.
  • The remixed version of Berthe's original boss theme is the first time an original boss theme was created for the game since CODE-Maya in Elysion Tower.
