Cubes
Basic Information
Cubes are items that you can open to reveal various predetermined, or random loot. They are one of the most common ways for rewards to be distributed, and there are a large variety of cubes available, which can be obtained by various means. Most cubes can be opened free of charge, however some require you to spend ED to open them, while others may even require a key obtained from events. Items inside of them vary from cube to cube, and will either be displayed in the cube's description, or a roulette will be displayed upon opening cubes that have a random loot chance, allowing to a preview of what the cube may contain.
Advanced Equipment Cubes
Whilst progressing through the story, some quests will grant rewards in the form of equipment cubes, which can be opened to give the designated equipment for your character. There are generally two cubes per set, one weapon cube, and one armor cube. Equipment inside of these cubes will have a +5 enhancement level by default.
Adventurer Cubes
Adventurer Cubes are a rare loot dropped by dungeon bosses and mini-bosses. There are three of them total, all of which may contain useful items and equipment for its respective level range. They are highly desired due to their potential rare loot and Unique Equipment sets. Adventurer Cubes require a certain amount of ED to open them.

Boss Cubes
Boss Cubes are cubes that can be randomly obtained as a reward from Ice Burners. They carry all of the Boss Drops from the respective region they represent, and will grant you one such item at random upon opening them. They are also the only way to obtain boss items that are no longer obtainable as drops, such as Steel Dogtooth, and Giant Phoru Toy.

Secret Dungeon Cubes
Secret Dungeon Equipment Cubes are obtained as rare drops from Secret Dungeon bosses. You can obtain a cube for each type of equipment piece, which come in both Elite and Unique rarities, containing the regular and Grendized versions respectively. The grade of the equipment inside will match that of the cube itself. Upon opening the cube, you will be presented with the option to select which specific Secret Dungeon set piece you want.
Special Cubes
These are special cubes that are obtained from events, Ice Burners, NPCs, other cubes, and by completing specific quests or activities.

Old Boxes
Prior to the April 12, 2017 patch, the following boxes dropped from mobs and bosses and dungeons. They contained relatively the same loot as the Adventurer Cubes that replaced them, however with a more limited loot table per box, given the fact that there were more of them, each based on a specific region and level range.
