The speed of the wisps will decrease over time as it travels over a large distance.
Each wisp pierces twice for a total of three hits.
The wisps will not move if there is no enemy within a certain range of them.
- Unless there is only a single enemy within range, the wisps will attempt to target a different enemy.
Fox Fire cannot be Mana broken when the status effect is Enemy DebuffFreeze or Enemy DebuffConviction. However, it can be mana broken if the status effect is Enemy DebuffBurn.
When the skill applies Enemy DebuffFreeze, it is not advised to use it while chain freezing since it deals multiple hits that freeze individually, quickly exceeding the limit of applying Enemy DebuffFreeze debuff and making the boss immune to freezing for 30 seconds.
The Petrify debuff is not the same as the actual Petrifying from Weapon Attributes. What it does in reality is freeze the target and make it unable to move. This also consumes their ticks.

This skill resembles the Kumiho pets' Slash attack.
- The senility from Naho's attack is excluded from the status effects Fox Fire can inflict.
