오랫동안 고통받았을 실험체의 목숨을 거두고, 클라모르에게 과거의 진상을 들으면서 노아는 점차 마음이 꺾이는 것을 느낀다. 이런 지독한 현실을 외면하고 나는 무슨 꿈을 꾸고 있었단 말인가. 자신이 안일하고 멍청하게만 느껴졌다. 하지만 교단을 향한 복수는 멈춰서는 안 된다.

다시 유적의 제단 위에서 식은 땀을 흘리며 일어난 노아는 악몽 탓에 뿌옇게 흐려진 머리를 부여잡았다. 근래 들어 일어난 일이 모두 꿈에서 일어났던 일인 것처럼 멀게 느껴진다. 아니, 어쩌면 정말 꿈이었을지도... 확인해 볼 필요를 느낀 노아는 유적의 지하로 내려간다. 그간 겪은 일이 사실이라면 유적 지하에는 그 유물이 있을 터였다.

유물을 통해 클라모르의 기억 속 세븐타워로 들어간 노아는 습격 받는 클라모르를 구하려고 하지만 번번히 실패한다. 유물 속 과거는 이미 일어난 일, 바꿀 수 없다는 것을 이미 알고 있음에도 노아는 멈출 수 없었다. 유적에서 처음 눈을 뜨고 유리아를 구했을 때 노아가 품었던 것은 ‘이번에는 다를지도 모른다’는 희망이었는데 유물 속 변하지 않는 과거는 희망따윈 없다고, 너는 아무것도 바꿀 수 없을 거라고 노아를 계속해서 좌절시켰다. 노아는 차라리 이 유물 속 공간에서 모든 게 끝났으면 좋겠다고 생각했지만 분명 그것 또한 끝은 아닐 것이다.

몇 번째 시도일까. 처음 본다는 얼굴로 한결같이 자신을 맞아주는 클라모르를 보며 설움에 북받친 노아는 울음을 터트리며 모든 걸 털어놓았다. 자신이 누구인지, 무슨 일을 겪었는지, 어떻게 지금 이 상황까지 오게 됐는지, 자신의 기분, 자신의 악몽, 자신의 지치고 나약한 모든 면면을. 불행하게도 클라모르는 노아가 쏟아내는 말의 홍수 속에서 많은 것들을 건져냈고, 노아의 말이 모두 사실이라는 것을 깨달았다. 자신은 다르게 느끼고 있지만 실제로 그는 유물 속 고정된 과거의 상이며, 불과 하루도 지나지 않아 괴한의 손에 명을 달리하게 될 거란 사실은 클라모르에게 충격을 주긴 했지만 타고난 그의 성정을 뒤흔들 정도는 아니었다. 클라모르는 노아를 자유롭게 만들어 주기로 했다.

미안해하지 않아도 돼. 너무 걱정하지 마. 어떤 방식으로든 결국 다 잘될 거야. 곧 떠나야 한다면 나쁜 꿈은 이곳에 두고 가자.... 머리카락을 쓰다듬는 따스한 손과 자장가처럼 들리는 속삭임을 마지막으로 노아는 깊은 잠에 빠졌다.

다시 눈을 떴을 때, 외부의 빛 한 점 들어오지 않는 어두컴컴한 유적 안에서도 노아는 새로운 기분을 느꼈다. 여전히 두렵고 불안하지만 어쩐지 이제부터는 좋은 꿈을 꿀 수 있을 것 같다는 생각이 들었다. 노아는 다시 일어섰다. 유리아와 그 가족들을 구하고 클라모르를 깨워야 한다. 마법도 마저 배우고 싶다. 어쩐지 이번엔 잘 될 것 같으니까.

After finishing the test subject's life that would have had a long, painful life, Noah's mind slowly gives up from listening to Clamor's truth in the past. I was only ignoring this nasty present and dreaming. He felt himself like an idiot. But the revenge against the cult should never end.

Noah sweats and wakes up from the ruins again, and fetches his head from the nightmare that made his head blurry. Events that happened recent felt like just a dream. No, perhaps this could be the dream... Since Noah wanted to check, he went to the underground of ruins. If it actually happened, then there should be an artifact on the underground.

After entering Clamor's memory of the Seven Tower, Noah fails every time when he tries to save Clamor. Despite the past in the artifact are already happened and they are fixed, and he knew about it, he could not stop. The first thought Noah had after waking up for the first time and saving Yuria was a hope of 'It could be different this time'. But the artifact of the past made him despair by throwing words, 'there is no more hope, and you cannot change anything'. Noah wanted to end everything in the artifact, but that would neither be the end.

After countless amount of tries, Noah cried in sorrow and tells everything from a grieve of looking at Clamor's exact same face of seeing a new person. About who I am, what I've been through, what lead to this, my feelings my nightmare and every piece of my exhaustion and weakness. Unfortunately, Clamor caught various things from Noah's flood of words, and realizes that everything Noah has said was true. Even if Clamor was shocked that he is only a past trapped inside the artifact, and one day later he will be deceased, it was not enough to change his talented temper.

Clamor decides to free Noah.

You don't have to feel guilty, Don't worry too much. Whatever that is, it will be alright at the end. If you have to leave soon, leave the bad dreams here... After feeling the warm hand that patted his head and a whisper like a lullaby as the last, Noah fell into deep sleep.

After opening his eyes once again, Noah felt new in the dark ruin. Even if he still feels anxious and scared, he thought he would have a nice dream from now on. Noah stands up again. He has to save Yuria and her family and wake up Clamor. I want to continue learning magic too. Because I somehow feel like it will turn nicely this time.
