After absorbing the energy from the Dark Elshard, Elsword now has access to use more cornwells to aid him in battle.

Background

During his travels throughout Elrios, Elsword began to notice how his Cornwell was absorbing the dark El energy after every encounter with creatures infected with it. Alarmed by this discovery, Elsword consults with the spirit of his Cornwell. Cornwell tells Elsword that in order to stop the infection, he needs to let Cornwell absorb the dark El energy after each battle and then inject it into Elsword instead. However, Cornwell warns Elsword that this process could awaken the darkness within his heart.

"In order to conquer darkness, you must be stronger than it."

Elsword simply replied, "I can live with that...."

Cornwell then began to inject Elsword with dark El energy and as a result, parts of Elsword's hair began to turn black. The power and abilities of his Cornwell also change, and Elsword gains the power to change his one Cornwell into an infinite amount.

Thus he was given the name, Infinity Sword.

Second Class Advancement

At Lv35, Sheath Knight can advance into Infinity Sword. The second class advancement quest is obtained from Ariel, the event NPC located in every town.

Infinity Sword

Infinity Sword can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: Dark Elshard Fragment.

1. Speak with Altera Pongo Elder Adel.
2. Collect 30 Nasod Chips from any Nasod throughout the Altera region.
   • Recommended 4-4.
3. Defeat:
   • Crow Rider 4 times in 4-5 on Any Difficulty.
   • King Nasod 4 times in 4-6 on Any Difficulty.
4. Speak with Lento in Peita
5. Collect 10 Drops from Glitter monsters in Peita
   • Recommended X-1.

• Infinity Sword's hair changes color due to him absorbing Dark El energy.
  • According to the manga, the dark spot in Infinity Sword's hair was caused by blood dripping from his head.
• Upon advancing to Infinity Sword, Elsword's eyes in-game change to a sharper expression.
• Infinity Sword is currently the third class to use a passive in order to decrease the MP cost of moves, the first being Code Architecture, the second being Deadly Chaser.
  • Infinity Sword's passive (Mind of the Fighter) is restricted to only Actives, unlike the other two.
• Infinity Sword's Sword has the same design as the sword of Rune Slayer's Luna Blade.
  • This could be why Sheath Knight/Infinity Sword could burn MP using the passive Cruel Slayer like how Luna Blade could burn MP.
