레이븐은 나소드를 향한 파괴행위를 끊임없이 이어갔지만, 점차 끝이 다가오고 있음을 깨달았다. 나소드 핸드를 파괴했던 알테라시아가 아직 부족하다는 듯 왼팔을 먹어치우기 시작했고, 이윽고 레이븐의 왼팔은 기생 식물로 이루어진 새로운 존재로 재탄생했다.

침식은 왼쪽 팔에서부터 점차 전신으로 퍼져갔고, 시야 또한 점차 흐릿해진다. 알테라시아는 역시 위험했다. 이런 결과를 초래할 것임을 예상했어야 했다. 아니, 어쩌면 예견된 결말일지도. 역모죄에 휘말려 연인과 동료를 잃었던 순간, '용병단장 레이븐'은 죽지 않았던가? 이 또한 운명, 유보되었던 죽음의 이행일지도 모른다.

그러던 레이븐에게 퐁고족들은 침식을 억제해 주는 특수한 갑주에 대해 알려준다. 알테라시아에 내성이 높은 퐁고족들에겐 효과가 미미해 사용되지 않았지만 자신에게는 도움이 될 것이다. 나소드를 궤멸하는 레이븐에게 선뜻 손을 내민 퐁고족들의 도움으로 레이븐은 변이된 알테라시아의 침식을 억제할 수 있게 되었다.

이제 더 이상 자신을 가로막는 것은 없다. 또다시 연장 받은 목숨... 이것이 자신이 나아가야 할 길이자 사명일지도 모른다. 증오라는 독을 품고 적들을 가차 없이 말살하는 그 모습은 마치 사신과도 같았다.

Raven continued the destruction of Nasods, but he gradually realized that the end was drawing near. Not only the Alterasia destroyed his Nasod Arm, but it began eating away at the remains of his human left arm. Eventually, Raven's left arm was reborn as a new being made of parasitic plants.

The erosion gradually spread from his left arm to his entire body, and his vision became increasingly blurred. Alterasia was dangerous as dangerous as the Nasod. He should have expected such an outcome. No, maybe it was the predicted ending. Wasn't the 'mercenary commander Raven' dead the moment he lost both his lover and comrade under the accusation of conspiracy? This may also be fate, a course of a prolonged death.
