However, if an enemy is far enough away the moment the skill connects, Energy Burst can not be used despite meeting the requirements.
- The skill will still try to cancel itself however and since it did successfully hit a target, grant you 2 energy for Energy Conversion, despite not actually being cancelled.
- Conversely, if you are close enough to an enemy, the skill will cancel itself before Energy Burst actually gets cast, giving you 1 energy for hitting a target and 2 energy for Energy Conversion, which can then be consumed by Energy Burst.
