- The region's name is likely a contraction of the term Rigor mortis, the third stage of death, alluding to the region's extremely barren and 'dead' wasteland with little to no resources short of Icerite.
- As can clearly be seen in Trosh's Nest, the region exists in a pocket of air below the ocean, as waves can be seen in the sky.
- Due to the lack of an accompanying town, all consumable crafting and anything related to Amethystine Prophecy Equipment is still performed in Elrianode instead, despite the El Search Party being essentially stranded in the Demon Realm.
