Because the skill both restores your Combination Gauge and gives you two Remnant of Fear stacks unconditionally, it is essentially "free", outside of the MP cost, allowing any follow-up combination skill such as Apollyon to remain fully buffed.
- This further also allows it to jumpstart your rotation even if you currently have 0 Combination Gauge, as well as allowing you to benefit from Remnant of Fear on enemies that are immune to Creeping Terror.
