Sword Taker
Full Name
Raven
Class
Sword Taker
Weapon
Blade, Nasod Arm
Weaklings! You're too slow!

Sword Taker

Specialty

He relies mainly on his sword to deliver flurries and slashes at extreme speeds that even Elsword cannot match. The Sword Taker can creep right behind his enemies and slash them to death if they are not too careful.

Background

Raven's new Nasod arm is powerful. Too powerful, in fact, that he has chosen not to rely on it. He is afraid that using it might overpower his consciousness and cause another threat towards the Kingdom of Velder. Unleashing the pent-up rage within him from the past will only lead to destruction. His willpower to resist the usage of his Nasod arm has caused him to revert to his old swordsmanship from when he was a soldier for the Velder Kingdom, thus being dubbed "Sword Taker".

First Class Advancement

Raven is required to be Lv15 to begin his first class advancement.

Taker

  1. Eliminate 18 Phorus in 2-4 on any difficulty.
  2. Speak to Echo the alchemist of Elder
  3. Collect a drop from the Big Brothers in 2-2
  4. Clear 2-1 in Very Hard (☆☆☆) within 7 minutes or lower.

After completing the Taker quest chain, Raven can decide between advancing as a Sword Taker or an Over Taker.

Sword Taker

Sword Taker can also be obtained by using the Cash Shop item: Sword Taker's Tablet
  1. Speak to Lenphad, the Blacksmith of Elder.
  2. Collect 10 Emblems from the Little Brothers in 2-3
  3. Collect 1 Blade from William Phoru (both the Boss and Miniboss) of 2-4 on Very Hard (☆☆☆).
  4. Collect 1 drop from Wally's Guardians in 2-5 on any difficulty.

At Lv35, a Sword Taker can advance into a Blade Master.

Additional Combos

Image Description
File:St21.png Normal Launch Combo

Does a regular ZZZ combo, but finishes with an uppercut that launches
yourself and the target in the air. During this time, you can still hit the
monster by using the dash combo.

Dash Launch Combo

This is another launch combo, but you activate it by doing a dash attack
and then using the ZZZ combo. This is similar to the Launch Combo, except
that you do not launch yourself. You can hit the monster by using ►►▲Z,
which is very similar to the first Launch Combo.

Finisher

After pressing XXZ, you have to repeatedly mash the Z button to do several fast hits.
If you don't hit it fast enough or stop, the combo will stop short and will be
ineffective. While spamming Z, it cannot be interrupted with another skill, no
matter what you use until the combo ends. It will always end with a Knockdown,
therefore you should only use it as a finisher, hence the name.
