The four major factions who once ruled under the [[Demon King]] now turned on each other in a desperate attempted to claim the throne for themselves. Aegirp and her White-Ghost Army being one of the factions. Anticipating the chaos, Aegirp devised a contingency plan to allow her soul to exist even if her body were to succumb by fragmenting her soul. Aegirp was betrayed by her subordinate [[Berthe]] who rebelled with the help of [[Barkat]] and the Garen under her rule. Those who had become loyal to Barkat and Berthe began to persecute those still loyal to Aegirp, primarily the Nous, to the point where the remaining loyalists fled and went into hiding deep in the seas of [[Rigomor]].
