Tips and Details

  • The skill hits in a circle around you, allowing it to function a bit like a radial clearing skill with good positioning, though its range is rather small, hitting roughly as far as the red circular swing around you.
  • The HP drain is based directly on the damage dealt, so landing a critical hit will also increase the HP drained.
  • Bloody Accel can be countered.
  • While the buff is active, the handle of Raven's blade is encompassed by an aura of swirling red lines and all of his sword attacks have a red outline.
  • The buff applies the moment the skill is cast, making it impossible to interrupt due to screen transitions or by being hit.


Trivia

  • Oddly, Bloody Accel's buff can also affect Raven's claw attacks as well, even riding a mount, despite being a sacrificial technique to strengthen his blade.
  • Due to the demon contract, Blood Colonel Edan has a permanent Bloody Accel passive buff at the expense of being thirsty for blood.
  • With the release of Add's Particle Accelerator, it is shown that Bloody Accel is short for Bloody Accelerator, as Add also says Accel when using his aforementioned ability. The name could have been shortened to not cause confusion with the old buff type Accelerator skills.
    • This is further supported as Raven's English dub yells "Bloody Accelerator" when using this skill in the NA server.
