| Raven was once a soldier of [[Velder]]'s Crow Mercenary Knights who worked hard to protect his kingdom, and in return, was betrayed by Alex, a comrade who was "like a brother to [Raven]". After being framed and sentenced to death, Raven was imprisoned until the day before his scheduled execution, where his comrades and fiancee, Seris, broke him out. Unfortunately, the Velder soldiers chased them into the forest and outnumbered and surrounded them, and everything Raven once loved and cared for died one by one, including his fiancee.

Until his battle with [[Elsword]] at the [[4-1|Black Crow]], he was freed from possession and regained his sanity, realizing what he had done. Raven wanted to atone his sins by aiding Elsword in finding the [[Elements|El Shards]].
