-Once you reach refinement stage 6 and 12, you are able to grant a specific skill damage increase effect to that armor piece for the same cost as you would have needed to refine to that stage. The skill you get will be random, but you are free to attempt applying a new skill however many times you like, as long as you have the materials.

You can choose the skill you want to strengthen, and if you change your mind you can re roll for the same amount of materials used for the first roll. (Before the 08/01/2019 patch, the skill you'd get the effect for would've been random)
