It was not just Elsword. All of his friends sacrificed themselves to protect something precious to them, and Raven, always watching their sacrifices from the side, felt helpless.<br>He wanted to be someone they could rely on. Someone they could trust to have their backs so they can march forward.<br>As someone walking the path of redemption, such selfish desire was perhaps too much to ask.<br>Raven thought until he remember something the mysterious voice had said.<br>'Do not forget, you have a promise to keep.'<br>Raven did not make promises lightly, because the failure of keeping the promise always did more harm than the good of making one. Now, there was only one promise that remained, the first and the last promise he made with his intended, Seris.<br>'Protect those precious to you.'<br>'Of course, I will not let this promise fade away.'<br>He will become stronger. He will protect his friends and those that are precious to them. That way, he can continue his never ending cycle of redemption without falter in his path.<br>Raven stared at his Nasod Arm. 'If it's because I have a 'human' body that I can't stand the heat…'<br>Raven headed towards the sanctum. 'He' was waiting for his answer at the heart of the sanctum.
