Socketing Equipment
In Elsword, many equipment (Avatar, Weapons and Armors) contain sockets, which can be socketed with certain gems to add special effects to the equipment. These can range from increase in Critical Hit Rate to an increase in Element Resistance.
Guide
1) Open your inventory menu (i) and click on the 2nd button to the left (It has a gem icon).
2) Click on an equipment you wish to socket.
3) A new window opens. The gray box shows how many sockets your equipment has. The maximum any equipment can have is 3 sockets.
4) To use a socket, drag the gem you wish to use onto the gray box and click on the button on the bottom right of the window.
5) You have now socketed your equipment. Repeat if you wish to retry the socket.
Gems to socket equipment
In order to socket equipment, you must have certain gems. They range from basic ones to stat specific gems. Basic gems give a random effect to an equipment, whereas stat specific gems give a certain effect depending on the gem used.
