Skill notes are various "notes" that can be used to permanently enhance the ability of a particular skill. In order to use skill note, you will need to have completed the Skill Book quest from Ariel, or buy the cash Skill Book from the cash shop. There are 3 types of Skill Notes: Special Skill Notes, Active Skill Notes and Sage's Note.
Special Active Skill Notes
Special Actives Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Special Actives, and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop. These skill notes tend to be valued highly in the market, due to the usefulness of the characteristics they grant.
Active Skill Notes
Active Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Actives and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop. These notes, too, tend to be fairly expensive in the market.
Sage's Note
Sage's Note can be used as any Skill Note you want. You can only obtain it during certain events.

Tips and Details
- You can also purchase the Skill Notebook from the Cash Shop as an alternative from doing the quest.
- There are two methods in getting the leather:
- First, is the chance to get Fine Leathers is 1-6 per dungeon run. However, it is extremely rare to obtain 5 or 6 in a single run, and if you aren't receiving any Fine Leathers during multiple dungeon runs in a row, it is advised that you log out and log back into Elsword (not just go to character selection screen, but actually close the client). The logging in and out method has not been proven yet.
- Second, running 3-4 and killing the first 3 Fire Komodos at the starting part of the dungeon and then exiting. If you do not get any drops, switching the difficulty is recommended as the same number of Fire Komodos are on any difficulty of 3-4. Do not lose heart if you do not get any drops! This method is the quickest saving stamina method and the fastest way to get your leathers without buying the book in the Cash Shop.
