Tips and Details

• As you cannot use any other skills or attacks while in Madness state, it is best to use certain buff skills before activating Transcendence.
• While the combo does a lot of damage, it takes an extremely long time (10 seconds if completed!) to do said damage, making it quite bad for your overall damage output.
• This skill is bugged and the Madness state will not end unless you touch the ground. Allowing you to abuse platforms that launch you upwards and give you a permanent transformed state until you land onto solid ground.
  • Madness will not end mid-air either.

Trivia

• Ciel's voice becomes noticeably more destructive and mad while in Madness state.
• Ciel's Madness state is the direct result of the contract with Lu feeding too much demonic power into him too quickly, as opposed to Dreadlord who has learned to deal with those powers over time.
• Ciel completely abandons his projectile attacks in Madness state, using his gunblades only as swords.
• Ciel's body turns completely dark while during Madness state, nothing more remaining than his eyes, now completely engulfed in an eerie blue glow, signifying his complete descent into darkness.
