Spezialität

An Infinity Sword is able to summon numerous Conwell swords for battle. This gives him remarkably high melee combo potential compared to most characters, most likely as a compensation for his non-existent magic attack. He has a movement and damage buff with the passive skill Lightning Surge. With enough attack speed and damage, the Infinity Sword is a force to be reckoned with.

Background

Throughout his ordeals all over the continent as the Sheath Knight, Elsword observes how the scabbard Conwell takes in the dark El energy from the infected monsters he faces. This troubles him and leads him to consult the spirit of Conwell on how to stop the contamination—Conwell must absorb the dark El energy at first and then transfer it to Elsword.

The spirit counsels Elsword that this remedy will stir the gloom in his heart, unless he conquers it with might. The red-haired boy's confidence is unfazed by the challenge before him, and he lets Conwell do what must be done. In time, the dark El energy changes them both in ability, empowering Elsword—now known as the Infinity Sword—to multiply the scabbard and call on an unlimited number of swords for battle.

Rolling Slash

After doing the standard combo, follow up by using the Conwell and spinning forward in a 180° arc.

  • Oddly, Conwell does not emerge from its sheath in this combo, rather it simply appears out of thin air.
  • Post KR 07/23/2015:
    • The rolling part is given super armor

Sword Chase

After doing the standard combo, quickly shoots out multiple Conwells hitting them and finishes by doing a single whirlwind slash upwards with both swords. The 2nd consumes 6 MP.

  • This combo also requires good perspective of aiming against smaller flying enemies, such as Wyverns or Stone Gargoyles.
    • The player needs to do the first slightly left/right of under the target for the actual Sword Chase to hit the target.
  • The Conwells' graphic will disappear after a short distance, but their hitbox will continue to fly diagonally, allowing you to hit targets at higher altitudes.

Rollover Slash

After doing the standard combo, follow up by using the Conwell and spinning forward in a 180° arc slashing over opponents and landing behind them.

  • Post 04/21/2016 KR patch:
    • New combo added.

  • A common misconception is that Infinity Sword is corrupted due to absorbing the Dark El, however he still retains most of his personality.
  • According to the official manhwa, "Blade Works", Elsword absorbed the Dark El, which caused the side of his hair to turn black.
  • Upon advancing to Infinity Sword, Elsword's eyes in-game change to a sharper expression.
  • Infinity Sword is the first character able to inflict bleed passively, followed by Crimson Avenger.
  • Conwell swings don't get their color outline changed upon Awakening, thus remaining blue.
  • Infinity Sword's artworks show his eyes color is brighter than Lord Knight's and Rune Slayer's.
  • Infinity Sword's Great Sword is similar in design to Luna Blade.
