Tips and Details
- The initial hit will normally never gain field bonuses, due to the fact that the initial hit's range extends past the field and will thus always hit an enemy before it has passed through, and standing far enough to let the ball pass the field first is too far away for the initial hit to still apply.
- However, after gaining Ultra Optical Investigation, Amplify Mode's size with the Gigantic trait is large enough that the initial hit can gain the damage bonus if you are standing far enough away to give the Electron Ball time to pass the field, but close enough so that initial hit damage will still apply. If aimed properly, the damage in Amplify Mode can thus be increased to 1,894.8% (759.6% in PvP) Magical Damage, higher than any of the other modes.
- Before [Enhanced], the duration is actually slightly longer than 4 seconds, allowing it to gain an extra hit. After [Enhanced] however, the duration expires just a little before another hit would occur, so only one additional hit is actually gained.
- For some reason, Amplify and Spectrum Mode cause the Energy Ball to last just a little bit longer, enough to gain an extra hit.
- In Reactive mode, the damage is not reduced. In Fusion mode, damage is only reduced to 50% instead of 25%.
- Kugel Blitz can activate attributes, even though it is a Special Active skill.
Trivia
- In astrophysics, a kugelblitz is a black hole created by energy.
- In Eve's case, the energy is El and the "black hole" is the carry or suction of her Kugel Blitz.
- Kugelblitz is also German for ball lightning.
