Vốn đã là 1 người kỳ cựu trong những trận đấu khi còn rất trẻ, Elsword vẫn cảm thấy cần trở nên mạnh mẽ hơn bao giờ hết và cần sáng tạo ra lối kiếm thuật riêng của anh ta. Khi đang trong 1 nhiệm vụ, anh ta tìm thấy 1 báu vật được ẩn giấu, 1 cái bao kiếm tên Conwell.


Cái bao kiếm này đã thấm đẫm sức mạnh của người tạo ra nó để có thể triệu hồi nên một thanh kiếm bất cứ lúc nào. Với năng lực này, Elsword có thể mang theo 2 thanh kiếm cùng lúc và trở thành một kiếm sĩ vô song.  Elsword đã thực hiện 1 hiệp ước với chiếc bao kiếm bí ẩn này và rất nhanh chóng, anh bắt đầu phát triển lối đánh song kiếm riêng của anh ta

Là một chiến binh kì cựu tại nhiều trận chiến ở tuổi đời còn rất trẻ, Elsword vẫn cảm thấy bản thân cần phải trở nên mạnh mẽ hơn nữa, và cậu muốn tạo ra một kiếm pháp của riêng mình. Trong khi làm nhiệm vụ, cậu phát hiện ra một kho báu cổ bí ẩn, đó là một bao kiếm có tên Conwell.


Elsword khám phá vùng đất Elrios với những người bạn để tìm kiếm El, tạo nên tên tuổi chính mình mọi nơi đi qua. Người dân của vùng đất sớm bắt đầu nói về người kiếm sĩ với bao kiếm thần kì Conwell - Sheath Knight
Bao kiếm này được kẻ tạo ra nó cường hóa cho thứ năng lực triệu hồi thanh đại kiếm thứ hai theo ý muốn. Với sức mạnh này Elsword có thể điều khiền 2 thanh kiếm khổng lồ cùng lúc và trở thành chiến binh vô song. Elsword đã lập ra một hiệp ước với bao kiếm bí ẩn và nhanh chóng bắt tay vào việc phát triển phong cách chiến đấu sử dụng kĩ thuật điều khiển song kiếm của riêng mình.
