As Ciel continued to fight against demons in order to find out more about the soul contract, Ciel's demonic energy became stronger and became better at controlling it. He no longer felt guilt towards the ones he slayed and began to brutally slay countless demons to continue the investigation, but he couldn't find anything on it.

As Lu looked on, she would occasionally recall the past. Though she could not pin-point the exact emotion, it felt warm and soft. "Wherever Ciel leads me is where I want to be." As she knows how dedicated Ciel is towards her, Lu did not question the mysterious voice.

Perhaps I was wrong. The soul contract could have been a trigger, but what she really needs might be to get her past power and get her throne back. Then, everything would be back to normal...

Lu will follow wherever Ciel leads her.

*This path explores the inverse of what happens during the [[Diangelion]] path, with '''Ciel''' having most of the demon energy within the contract instead of '''Lu'''.

**By contrast however, while [[Diangelion]] has the weaker of the two, Ciel, unwillingly gain their energy due to overflow, this path has the weaker of the two, Lu, lose significant amounts of their energy instead, thanks to almost entirely lacking a soul.

*Similar to [[Nisha Labyrinth]], this "darker" path has a sliver of hope remaining for things to turn out ok eventually, as '''Lu''' regains some of her willpower despite being unable to display any emotions.

*Befitting their roles, all of this path's Lu skills are exclusively support-oriented (with the sole exception of [[Scratch ID]], which originally did also have a debuff that was later removed), while all of Ciel's skills are exclusively damage oriented. This includes the three Dyad skills as well, with [[Abyss Scatter]] and [[Blanket Authority]] both using the power of ID, while [[Invite Abyss]] uses Ciel's bullets instead.
