The more he uses the corrupted power of the God, the more his body shatters. The trace of Henir that starts to appear spreads throughout his body, but for the sake of his mission, Ain endures the pain and moves forward.
When Ain arrives at Nasod Foundry with the El Search Party, he sees how the "Nasod", a creation of mankind, are manufactured numerously then later discarded once its purpose is fulfilled. From watching the Nasods, he reflects on himself - a being created for the mission and fated to disappear after its completion - and grows skeptical of his existence. Fear and despair for the future begin to fill his mind.
Again, to ask for an answer from the Goddess, Ain heads to Feita, but the terrible demonic aura that shrouds the entire region and the numerous demons only help develop the chaos within Ain. Even then, believing that reaching the Goddess will cleanse him of everything, Ain perseveres with only that in his mind. He ends up discovering the "Dark El", a jewel that the demons worship. After seeing how the El, which he believed is a perfect creation that only the Goddess can interfere with, could be corrupted by the demons, Ain's faith in the Goddess that has sustained him thus far, shatters and he is consumed by the fully grown seed of chaos.
Within it, Ain faces the core of the chaos again, but he, enveloped in chaos, does not feel that it is unstable like how he felt it was last time. At the end of the disordered chaos, Ain realizes that the creation of everything - the beginning and the end - everything is bound to return to nothing.
The mission to save the things that are bound to disappear, and even himself, who is created for that mission, have no meaning.
When Ain sorts out his chaotic emotions, he abandons the Goddess and his mission, replacing them by fully accepting the chaos of Henir that has been eating away at him all this time. In the center of the storm of chaos, Ain becomes the absolute ruler of the Void who returns everything to its perfect state: nothing.

| <!-- [Quest 1 Description] --> As Ain chased the trace of the El all the way to Altera, the Seed of Chaos was growing. This power of God that mutated before he even realized. The more he used this power, the more his body fell apart as if in protest, and Henir's influence became greater. But Ain believed he must use everything in his arsenal to complete the mission. However, the longer he had to endure the pain, another thought started to invade his thoughts. Did he truly have to go through these lengths to complete his mission? | |||
| <!-- [Quest 2 Description] --> Ain sees countless Nasods being built only to be discarded by humans based on their need at Nasod Foundry. He was just like them, created to complete the mission, only to disappear after. Ain feels doubt towards his existence and despair and fear towards his future. What shall he do? Feeling lost, Ain desperately chases after Elsword. | |||
| <!-- [Quest 3 Description] --> Even Elsword with his familiar aura was not able to calm his fears. Ain realizes once again that the Goddess is the only one who can take away his fears. Ain leaves the El Search Party and head to Shrine of Dedication in Feita to reach the Goddess and confirm the meaning of his existence. | |||
| <!-- [Quest 4 Description] --> Once Ain arrived in Feita, he is shocked by the demonic energy surrounding Feita. | |||
Even the path to the Shrine was swarming with demons, but Ain believe that all this chaos would wash away the moment he reached the Goddess... until he saw the El shard completely tainted by demonic energy.
'Even the El that I thought was solely the Goddess's can be corrupted by demonic energy...'
With his faith towards the Goddess shattered, nothing tied him down and Ain is completely swallowed by the large Seed of Chaos. There, he faced the core of chaos again. Covered in chaos, Ain no longer felt unstable from it.
At the end where everything is mixed together and scatters in silence, Ain realizes that everything must return to nothing. The mission given by the Goddess was also for beings that will eventually turn to nothing. He, who was created for such mission, also had no meaning.
Ain abandons the Goddess and the mission that he trusted, and accepts the chaos that's been eating away at him.
| <!-- [Quest 5 Description] --> When Ain comes out of Henir, his body begins to fall apart from the mutated power and the overwhelming demonic energy, but that held no meaning any more. The demons that blocked his way, the humans, all will face the same ending, becoming nothing. Ain headed to the Underground Chapel to sort out his final thoughts on the Goddess. | |||
