Kayak: Difference between revisions

An old Lizardman Shaman, he held great animosity towards humans believing that the Lizardmen should rise up against the humans and drive them out of [[Bethma]]. His radical ideologies clashed with the views of the Lizardman Chief [[Berauk]], fed up with Kayak's maniacal ploys, [[Berauk]] banished the shaman from [[3-2|Bethma Lake]]. Once he had been banished from his home, Kayak fell prey to his obsession with ridding humans. He had become a Shadow Shaman, with his dark magic, he created artifacts which he would use to take control of other Lizardmen so he could rise up against the humans. One of the Lizardmen he took control of was the chief of [[3-2|Bethma Lake]], [[Berauk]].

After [[Berauk]] was defeated in [[3-2|Bethma Lake]], Kayak and his mind controlled minions were able to sneak past the El Search Party and take [[Berauk]]'s body back. As the El Search Party searched [[3-3|Bethma Lake (Night)]], they realized that Kayak had been using necromancy spells to revive the deceased Lizardmen back to life in order to fortify his army to take back [[Bethma]].

Kayak, would remain in his secret lair deep in the [[3-4|Dragon Nest]]. He aimed to resurrect the Ancient Dragon that lived deep in the Dragon Nest to wipe out all of humanity from [[Bethma]]. To protect himself while he performed his rituals, he formulated a dark spell which turned Lizardmen berserk by ridding them of their souls and reducing them to mindless killing machines. Unfortunately [[Berauk]] was among the soulless ranks. However the El Search Party was able to foil, Kayak's plans and stopped the Shadow Shaman from resurrecting the Dragon. While Kayak escaped, he dropped a scroll containing his spells, with this [[Chacha Buch]] was able to halt his production of berserk Lizardmen, however could not save those who had been lost to the dark spell's effects.

While his plans were foiled by the El Search Party the first time, Kayak had no intention of abandoning it. Instead he found refuge deep in the [[3-X|Dragon Nest: Abyss]]. There he furthered his plans to resurrect the Ancient Dragon. When the El Search Party were notified of strange activity happening inside the Dragon Nest, they searched the area till until they discovered Kayak trying to resurrect the Dragon once again. While the El Search Party was able to defeat the Shadow Shaman a second time, with his dying breath he finished his ritual and the Ancient Bone Dragon was resurrected.

*In old version of [[3-X|Dragon Nest: Abyss]], El Search Party defeated the Shadow Shaman and stopped he finishing his ritual, so the Ancient Bone Dragon was not resurrected yet.
