Path Videos

The path videos are partially covering the "Statistics" section. Can somebody please fix this? Thanks. FlareKyn (talk) 02:10, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

It looks fine on my end (Firefox). What browser are you using? o:
Or are you on mobile? -- G123u (talk) 02:47, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

  • No, I'm on PC and using Opera GX. And I just figured out that part of the issue is the scale listed when calling the video template. The image you linked showed the Knight Emperor video, which is scaled to 350 and is fine on my end as well, but Genesis, which has the overlap on my end, is scaled to 400. Ability Field

I believe the ability field should just display "Abilities" instead of "Path Abilities", as some base classes can make use of this field as well (such as Aisha). FlareKyn (talk) 16:01, 30 April 2024 (BST)Reply[reply]

nod nod.
Ara uses chi manipulation in all of her paths too, for example. :blobpeek: G123u (talk) 18:06, 30 April 2024 (BST)Reply[reply]
It was changed to "Extra Abilities" after I made this topic, which I think is fine. Thanks to Shiro for doing that. As for Ara, I just took a quick look, and from what I can tell, only the Devi path mentions Chi, so I'm not sure that we can say that all Aras use it. She does! The whole energy system, including secret arts, is based off of qigong, or the art of chi/energy manipulation. Skills like Suppression utilize energy, and many of the Spell skills such as Spell: Storm are named as 术法 in Chinese, which refers to techniques learned through qigong mastery.
As for the Surya path, I guess you can use Convert as the primary example?
I'm not sure if it still exists, but I remember 2naFish making a blog post about this: at the time, there was a common misconception that Yama Raja used demonic powers. He made the post to correct this misconception and explain how both Yama Raja and Sakra Devanam use chi, just in different ways. G123u (talk) 18:36, 30 April 2024 (BST)Reply[reply]
A fair argument, but there's still the fact that only Devi actually refers to Chi. I personally believe that it should be accurate to the lore, which is why I'm not so sure about it, and I'm not sure the Chinese Skill names matter that much when this is a Korean game. Anyway, I don't think we should continue talking about it here, this is something that would be better discussed in Ara's talk page. FlareKyn (talk) 19:04, 30 April 2024 (BST)Reply[reply]
All Ara uses Chi. Chi is a direct Chinese translation for energy. There a reason the passives with chi in the name has something to do with energy. Anyways I changed the devi path to forbidden chi technique. LeoShironsaki (talk) 19:35, 30 April 2024 (BST)Reply[reply]
